Lattimore is ruled out. ends that discussion.

This will be a repeat of Balt/Pitt games. hopefully we land on the right side.

Other than knowing nothing other than he has been out for several weeks this season. My guess is Lattimore will be ready for the Titans game

Where's that official? Latest injury report for Tuesday simply a says DNP. Likely he's out if he's not practicing but nothing official from what I can find?

Eagles win this one, probably handily. We're not quite in their class.

I think the Steelers and Ravens are both better than Philly. No reason we can't go toe to toe with them.

Nonsense to the “handily” part. Should be a good game.

The loss to the Steelers didn't bother me at all. We played hard and hung in the game against a very good opponent - a playoffs team IMO. The Eagles are just as good, if not better, as the Steelers. So as long as we compete hard against the Eagles, a loss to them won't bother me much either.

But a win would be a thrill! If we could split these two games it would be very satisfying to double our win total of last season as we march to the playoffs.

I'll go ahead and give my answer. The Eagles were one of the most talented rosters in the league last year and that has not changed. I'm not a big Hurts guy but he is in a fansatic situation. Their weakness which was exposed in the playoffs was in the secondary. The rookie corners I have heard are playing well so that's no longer the case.

Yes they lost some people but they also added probably the most explosive back in league who can change a game in one play. I think we will struggle to contain all these weapons and if the Commanders are down 2-3 tackles well that spells disaster.

Primarily because they have a star-studded offense that can put up big numbers.

Eagles biggest weakness could be their coach

But agree

Re: Iggles pre game thread

Their offense is still great, but their defense is no Steelers. Until proven otherwise, we will continue to put up points. I imagine we won't have crappy drops and shitty calls every game either, so I think this will be a high scoring, exciting game.

Our defense has steadily improved each game, especially against the run, but we seem to get beaten by a single player (I feel like that's been our issue for the past 20 years). If Brown or Barkley go off, we lose. If we hold them to something reasonable, I think we win a close one.

Re: Iggles pre game thread

I am quite worried about this game being a turning point in our season, in a bad way. There is now ton of film on kingsbury, he has a history of late season losses, film on daniels as his production is trending down, higher level of competition on our schedule, key injuries, eagles killed our CBs, poor run defense too. We have been beating bad teams exclusively. Our hype train has a bit of a mirage as our team has been so hopeless and now we have a solid team. Philly is better than us in almost every position group or even. Yes, we may be more competitive, but we certainly aren't more talented. Shut down Terry and keep daniels contained is the name of the game. Not really that hard to do with a very talented team. I would be shocked if we win. It may be hard to watch some of this, but we are all used to getting our butts kicked. I see a pretty big statement game by the eagles resulting in revived superbowl talk. I sure hope I am wrong?

Re: Iggles pre game thread

Also, I believe the Eagles played a very soft schedule so far. Their losses were against not great teams. We absolutely can win this, but this will be kind of the anti-Steelers game. Great offense, meh defense.

We may lose, but they haven't exactly beaten great teams either. I'm not really a fan of that argument anyway. You can't control the schedule. That said, each team's strength of schedule so far is almost identical (26th & 27th).

I'll give them the leg up because they are home, but I definitely wouldn't be "shocked" if we won. It should be a pretty good matchup, honestly.

It's interesting to see how some people here are so concerned about this game because of how we played against Eagles last year, it's almost as if we had forgotten that the team this year is literally completely different than last year team..

Including tonight I expect that Philly may very well lose four of its next six games - us twice, Pitt and Baltimore.

As for late season collapses or late season tape do we remember Philadelphia last year??

Unless Barkley runs right through our sieve-like rush D, like he did playing for shitty Giants offenses.

Our Offense will keep us in any game. Let JD run tonight early. Gotta make the Birds respect that possibility.

His lanes should be more open than they were vs. the Steelers. But what I was talking about is that the Eagles can blow up offensively, and I bet we don't score 40 tonight.

Washington has a way of "dogging it" to victory. You can never count them out because they always play like they have the desire (like some Skins teams of old). The biggest concern to me is how injured Daniels may still be.
The biggest concern to me is how injured Daniels may still be.
Yes. He was not himself at Philly. We need the JD that we saw at Cincy and at Arizona. That is the real JD.
