I only saw the Redzone segments but the O looked back to early season form and the D stood up OK. Fair assessment?

From what I saw of the Falcons game, they l9ok beatable. Cousins has seemed up and down all season and quite down today. Saints, Falcons and Cowboys now very winnable games if we turn up.

We nearly had two 100-yard rushers (Robinson had 103 and Rodriguez had 94) today.

Very good bounce back. TBH I would've preferred this last Sunday and then have a hangover game today. Still pissed that we never sweep Dallas during the season. For those still doubting JD I think all you have to do is look at how productive Terry is with him compared to the other years of his career. Wish we didn't give up the last TD, and probably wouldn't have with out the Chin foul, the D played well enough

He's straight trash at this juncture of his career. If he didn't have tenure in Baltimore, they'd cut his ass.

Re: Titans Gameday Thread

42 points on the 2nd best D in the league is pretty sweet. Converted the TOs into points. Also sweet. And getting Lattimore for the rest of the season, which I assume we will, should also be sweet.

The NFL really is a game of inches. With a couple of plays breaking our way, we could have notched wins against the Steelers and Cowboys and be sitting at 10-3. We could also have dropped games to the Bears and Giants (first game) and be sitting at 6-7. So 8-5 feels about right. Will be happy with 2 more wins and thrilled at 3 more.

Season 1 of the rebuild is definitely ahead of schedule.

Nice win!

We still don't have a win against a team that currently has a winning record, but I guess that will bode well for the rest of the season since three of the last four games are against teams that do not currently have a winning record. I'm guessing we'll also play Philly better at home and with a more rested healthy team.

The bye is coming at a great time.

If we make the playoffs, our only shot at winning our first playoff game since 2005; is facing the South or West winner. Those two will be the 3rd and 4th seed. If we have face the 2nd seed or 1st seed in divisional round, we aren’t winning.

This suggests we need to have a better record than MN or GB, I dont see how that is likely. Wed have to have 11 or 12 wins I would guess

First seed gets a bye. Unless Philly folds down the stretch we really only have a shot at the 6th or 7th seeds, which means we would play the 2nd or 3rd seed. As it stands right now, we would likely be matched up against Detroit, Philly, or Minnesota if we stay in the 7th seed, and there are a number of possible matchups if we were able to sneak into the 6th seed. Either game would be tough for sure (it's the playoffs), but I wouldn't say we have no shot.

Hopefully they come out of the bye healthy and firing on all cylinders.

Re: Titans Gameday Thread

I dont want to see the eagles, lions or GB. Best shot would be if MN surged to 2 and philly dropped to 3. I just dont see us having a shot at any playoff spot other than #7 seed realistically. Hell, we gotta win 3 of last 4 to be be sure. Remember, everyone else has 5 games to earn another win. I dont buy the get to 10 wins and ur in argument. But if we do make it, we are going to match up against a potential Superbowl winner. Not bad for year one of a rebuild. But we are just as likely to play 500 ball and get to 10 wins and look at tiebreakers. I am quite happy we beat the titans. Damn we need Lattimore to do anything significant. Upsets over Philly or similar are highly unlikely otherwise

Just getting to the playoffs will be a huge W for this season. We're already way ahead schedule with the recalibration.

Add some more weapons on offense and keep building the D and we'll be cooking next year.

a nice finish to the season be beat the cowboys and saints

beat falcons, this is a good measuring stick

eagles , i doubt we beat them

get a playoff bid and win or lose its a successful season

still got see what Laddie from lost boys does for us at CB

JD5 seems to be hitting on all cylinders again

I personally love Higgins but he has a major issue with staying healthy for whole season.

Re: Titans Gameday Thread

8-5. Not too shabby. Nice to wash the stench out of the Cowboys game with a nice blow-out of the Titans. And our offense looking great against a normally stout D.

Robinson and Rodriguez (R&R), gave the Titans the business:
