What in the world must the new ownership do satisfy you in this first year of a complete rebuild of the entire prostrate franchise left to them by Snyder? |
Very lucky for the NFL that the Redskins did win because if they had lost there would have been a massive stink raised over the Refs stopping the clock for 4 seconds on the play before the Saints last TD.
Could have been a colossal blunder, the refs admitted they botched it and it wasn't reviewable. They stopped it at 9 seconds. Unbelievable. |
Ekeler was the perfect change of pace, the offense misses him
He is a great change of pace, but he doesnt have the homerun speed anymore, I do feel the offense gets way more dynamic if we can find our Jamyr Gibbs, Whether thats an Ashton Jeanty or whomever |

The whole world would have been livid because it looked like blatant cheating |
Re: A WIN IS A WIN POSTGAME THREAD
Also Id like to point out that Lattimore was on 36 or 37 snaps and wasnt targeted once, once he gets up to speed having him is gonna be spectacular for the defense
Don't forget the 2nd deep ball to Terry that he normally hauls in but just juggled it. Any team can get hot in the playoffs, not saying we will. All in all, this team likely wins 11 games. Pretty happy for a first year overhaul.
Sent from my SM-S711U using Tapatalk
Totally agree with this. Pretty odd that JD and McClaurin didn't connect with at least 1 deep ball on all those. This combined with the bs penalties was our biggest issue on why this got close. JD had a few missed passed but overall was solid. His legs are a wonderful weapon to have with this offense. |
Jayden was damn near perfect yesterday. A win is a win for sure.. On to Philly
No he wasn't. He left two TD's on the field. |

He left 2, on a 3rd the one up the sideline it looked like Terry slowed down a little bit |
Re: A WIN IS A WIN POSTGAME THREAD
We also need a more dynamic RB.. BROB has no juke in him at all
100% I’m all about finding a RB this offseason with some wiggle and more importantly, speed. I like me some brob and he has a place on the team…the RPO game with a home run hitter would make the offense more electric |
Re: A WIN IS A WIN POSTGAME THREAD
We gotta give the Saints defense some credits, they are better than advertised. Also, the announcers pointed out that the Saints defense ranked in top 3-4 for every defense category since week 10.

I really want to see him shut down AJ Brown next week!

Re: A WIN IS A WIN POSTGAME THREAD
JD hits one of those long ones and we're here over reacting and thinking we're super bowl bound. Did enough with hurt oline and some tough penalties. Look, we are not yet a complete team. Riverboat Ron left us a shit team and we had to clean house. The fact that we're in this position at all is a testament to JD--he's pumping everyone else up. Kid lights up the field.
Happy to be in this spot at all--December is usually where we lose this sort of game. So much better to win and be pissed than to lose! |

Saints' D-line is insane. |

How in the world is something like that "not reviewable"??? Something that can easily be fixed by double checking! That has to change. During games I feel like they stop play all the time fixing clock issues, but somehow at the very end of a game with it on the line, it cannot be reviewed?? That's just not right. |

St. Juste was on the field for 3(!!!) snaps and gave up a 1st down because of a stupid penalty. He will be the next Rivera pick gone.

Re: A WIN IS A WIN POSTGAME THREAD
With this team you take a win anyway you can get it. 9 wins w/ a rookie qb and numerous other holes is pretty damn good.
If they can get into the playoffs it's one and done. They'll most likely be the last seed so that means at Philly or at Detroit. Those are losses either way you shake it. Although the Lions are really hurting on defense with all the injuries. |

Nah just one. He overthrew only once the 2d was catchable, the 3rd should have drawn a pass interference (may have been an over correction on the earlier misses). |

Funny thing is Ron did not hit on one first rounder during his time here. Chase, Davis, Dotson and Forbes are no longer on the team. Also I just saw that Mathis, a second rounder was a healthy scratch on Sunday to a guy I've never heard of. |

The team has made multiple great moves in the last offseason, but even to this day, I still don't understand why they chose to keep Mathis over Ridgeway. Heck, Ridgeway even played good against us last Sunday... |

It took until the last play.......so many NFL games finished that way....

He moved quite well for a large man and seemingly every offensive player he made contact with him went down. Should have kept him.

I think they made a decision based on the fact that Ridgeway is more of a pass rushing DT vs. Mathis being more of a run stopping DT. Also, if you had enough pass rushing DTs and you can get compensation for Ridgeway, you take that. In hindsight it was a good move, since I believe that round pick that was acquired from the Ridgeway trade, was used in the Lattimore trade. |
