Re: Around the League
This is really sad.. Unfortunately, suicide continues to be the least talking point when it comes to discussing deaths in USA. According to CDC data - suicide is ranked #11th cause of death, compared to homicide rank which is #16th, yet we love to talk about homicides as if it's the #1 cause of death in USA.

Love the Broncos throwbacks

Re: Around the League
How is Carolina 5-4? I can't believe that.

Re: Around the League
Of course Miami is hitting their stride the week prior to playing us.
Naturally. |
Re: Around the League
The Pats are this years Commanders.. QB play is insane and everything is coached right

Drake Maye was always a good QB |

Good job Packers. You fucking losers. Talk about a fluke.

Their Offense is painful to watch |
Re: Around the League
Jordan Love is just not consistent enough to take them to the promised land. Especially when you look at the investment in WR they have made to help him succeed.
|
Re: Around the League
Agree, he has flashes but then games like last night as well. I'd rather have a Sam Darnold who is consistent around 250 yards a game
|
Re: Around the League
The NFC is basically Eagles , Rams and Hawks. The rest are all avg playoff teams. Tampa has cooled off big time.
The AFC is wide open this yr. |

He's the guy I was hoping we drafted but I'm not unhappy with JD. |

"Despite not playing, Aiyuk was a consistent presence at practice during training camp, earning praise from wide receivers coach Leonard Hankerson for his willingness to help the team's other wideouts." Interesting footnote from the article about Aiyuk's guarantees being voided. I had no idea Hank was the WR coach for the 49ers. That Aiyuk contract was a disaster for the 49ers. I wouldn't be surprised if he isn't the same player again. |
Re: Around the League
Wow - Hankerson. I really liked him when he was a WR for us. Seems like a lifetime ago. Haven’t thought about that dude in ages.

Terrible overpay by the Niners. |

After the injury, you have to think the price would be a fair bit less. Still, after this season’s WR injury woes, I suspect AP would be reluctant to do this. And some team will give him a big deal and take the chance. I doubt we will. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: Around the League
I think we weren't interested in trading for Aiyuk due to high cost, I cannot remember exactly what 49ers wanted for him but I imagine it's 1st round pick (or maybe 2nd?). But if Aiyuk is free agent, I won't be surprised if we reach out to him.
While I'm personally not fan of how Aiyuk handled the contract situation with 49ers, we literally have no weapons beyond McLaurin so we need to do whatever we can do to give Daniels weapons. I don't think we can depend on the draft alone to get more playmakers on offense. |
Re: Around the League
Lol we suck something fierce this year. Cant even really fucking fathom it while watching all these teams we have lost to. Any given sunday but whatever. The gap wasnt even close when we played and yet they are hit or miss on the field when it hasnt been us. Major joke and indictment of how bad this team, the schemes, the coaching and execution has been.
Burn it down....... kinda. |

What a difference a year makes.. Right now Maye , Williams and Nix are all Playoff QBs and we are left with JD5 being injured 4 times in 23 starts... Hate to be negative but thats not very promising. |
Re: Around the League
On top of that I am watching this Rams game and Forbes looks better than any DB that we have on our roster.
Rams look like the best team in the league. |

Re: Around the League
Danny Dimes proved yesterday he's having a one hit wonder of a season. He will not beat a good team in the playoffs. Jared Goff is the same in DET. They should have lost to a 2-9 Giants team yesterday if it wasn't for Gibbs going insane
Stafford is clearly the MVP.. Dude is on another planet right now
Yes. He was a machine last night. Just dime after dime. McVay has that team looking great. Still only November but they will very formidable in the playoffs.

Re: Around the League
I’m taking McVay over any coach in the game right now.
He knows how to get production out of his guys. |

Re: Around the League
Wow people really want to trade for Auiyk?
Man, talk about not learning from the Snyder experience |
Re: Around the League
Brandon is a prima Donna. He’d be good for a year. On good behavior. He’d probably poison Jayden, especially as he enter his contract year.
|
Re: Around the League
Is it time to give Jerry Jones some credit?
|
Re: Around the League
For what? The Parsons situation was resolvable in the offseason, just like the McLaurin scenario Had he pulled the trigger like he threatened, Dallas would possibly be more threatening from week 1. And the Chiefs are as up and down as anyone. Let's see how they do in the playoffs, if they get there, before we give jerry any credit.

Looks like a really damn good hire in Brian S. Pickens? Q Williams? Javonte Williams? Overshown starting to play well. They beat both SB teams back to back weeks. If we had done that you'd be happy af. I know I would be! |

Jerry's done this before with moves that put the team in position only for it to fall apart down the stretch. He's done better than Snyder ever did, but that's a low bar. |
Re: Around the League
Really kinda sad be having a bad season, the nfl recent elite teams aren’t as dominant this year…Lions, KC, Ravens
Team like Dallas, Broncos, Seattle very easily could win it all. |
Re: Around the League
Don't sleep on the Bears. I have to admit, I was totally wrong on Ben Johnson. The guy can flat out coach. He was giving me Norv Turner vibes. Not the case at all.

I thought he was too quiet a coach coming out of Detroit, but maybe he was just overshadowed by Campbell. Watching teh locker room video Friday he's definitely not too quiet! Bears maybe needed time to gel under the new regime as they don't look like the same team that started the season. Only thing I wonder is whether Williams has the ability to be elite, or merely be very good. I don't feel convinced when I watch him. |
Re: Around the League
That was a team that needed a walk off fg to beat us (and that we’d have beat had our kicker not sucked) when we were healthier. Very frustrating. Although glorious to see Philly spanked at home. They got punched in the mouth. Love that.
