I'm with you on this one, although I think Coach Gibbs is going to try to stick to the ground game as much as possible, hoping we can exercise a ball-control offense and keep Seattle's O off the field as much as possible. Judging from their defensive stats, their Pass D looks more suspect than the Run D, but I don't think Gibbs will play to that weakness. I think Portis will have a couple of good runs, but I don't think he'll have a game any better than what he did against Dallas. I think our defense will set up a few short field ops for our offense to score a few points, especially if we make Hasselbeck hurry his throws and force a few. I'm thinking a Redskins win but not an impressive one.

Seattle can score and Shaun Alexander is running downhill right now. He looks great. Your D can load eight in the box and have Taylor smack him everytime he pokes his head through the hole. Count on the Seahawks receivers dropping at least two or three catchable balls. Even so this team can score. For washington to win you will need to beat them:

Novak kicks 4 FGs, one from 49, Brunell has a 12-26, 120 yds day, Portis runs 25 times for 100 yards, and our defense holds Alexander in check until the 4th quarter, when his TD make it 12-10 with 3 minutes to go. Our offense stalls but our defense stops them to get the ball back and run out the clock.

I like your scenario, but I say B&G 13-10. 1 TD and 2 FGs for us.
Whatever equates to 10 for the seaslugs.

I also didn't add that Seattle is on the road and they may collapse. Plus those WR drops hurt more on the road. Looks like the Skins have every reason to go 3-0. I really don't know if Dallas can beat Oakland.

Yeah you guys have tough game this week. Oakland is desperate, and they have a bye next week, and I'm sure they don't want to go 0-4 into their bye week. It's going to be a high scoring affair. Your Defense needs to step up and stop Moss.

My thoughts exactly. I think that Portis will run a little better this week(110) and the pass game will impove as well (225). The D will be itself and we take this one Redskins 20 Seahags 10

I would think otherwise. Oakland's Pass D is horrible! If Bledsoe can open up the passing lanes, it'll allow Jones to pound the ball in the 2nd half. If the front 7 can pressure Collins all day, he'll crumble like a soda can. If Moss can be held again without a TD, Dallas is on the right track.

However, I hope Dallas gets their asses kicked...sorry, but I am a Skins fan first and foremost.

Alexander - who is one of my favorite backs in the league - doesn't match up well against our defense. He won't come close to matching last week's 4 TD performance. If we can hold the Seahawks to 3 scorinig drives, we'll be fine.

Guys - not going to make any predicitions here, all too often then end up wrong. My thoughts on the game in terms of the keys to Redskin's victory are:

1) turnovers - we need to be on the positive side of the ratio

2) field position - the kicking and return game need to not give up the big play and make sure the other team has to drive the length of the field, not many teams in the NFL can do this against our defence.

3) running game - there is some stat were we are 6-0 when Portis rushes for over 100 yards...I like this stat...Portis is on my fantasy football team so YES I am biased.

I think if the Skins accomplish these three things I very much like our chances of winning. The only other thing is if we see Mark 'The Mad Bomber' Brunell go deep again.

I think the giants still suck, slightly above average offense, below average defense... If we can beat the roids by 1, we should be able to beat them by at least 3-7. Tampa is probably winable too, since we've got a good run D. the other three are going to be very very hard though, unless KC's oline is still dead or mcnabb's condition gets worse after a couple more hits.

Chris Cooley finally breaks out for a TD, Clinton adds another and the playmaker Santana Moss comes through with a huge RAC avg to set up 3 field goals. Redskins win, 23-14.
