SKINSnCANES 04-14-2004 06:13 PM

I remember the Dallas Washington monday night game the first year FED EX field opened, this should be another great one.

SkinsRock 04-14-2004 06:14 PM

Home vs. Dallass on Monday night, week 3...Awesome!

Also looking forward to beating the Ravens on Sunday night!

SKINSnCANES 04-14-2004 06:15 PM

We've done well against the ravens, I hope that continues

skins009 04-14-2004 06:42 PM

Kind of wish we could have gotten Dallas a little later, we've got new coaches on both sides of the ball. So it might take a while for the players to turn the corner. Either was were gonna kill Dallas though in front of the whole country.

Gmanc711 04-14-2004 06:57 PM

I really think the way our schedule is set up plays out in our favor. Alot of our " Tough Games " are right at home. I dont know if anyone has noticed who we have for our last game, but its the Vikings at home in Janruary. If that isnt a gimmie I dont know what is, cause they suck outside.

Bozzy 04-14-2004 06:59 PM

5pm for the 49ner game? That's an odd time!

SKINSnCANES 04-14-2004 07:02 PM

Yea thats the Saturday times for you.

kingerock 04-14-2004 10:56 PM

Saturday in San Fran @ 5:00 is a 7:00 prime time game on the east coast. I'm sure it's a ratings thing for television viewers.

kingerock 04-14-2004 10:57 PM

Also, I plan on going to the Dec 26 in Dallas being i'm from Texas. (Redskins fan for 20 years, lived 2 hours from Dallas almost my whole life!)

It may be nice to meet up with some other skins fans at the game!

SKINSnCANES 04-14-2004 11:04 PM

I might have a job in Texas, if I do my family is going ot have to come to Texas this year and we're all going to the Dallas game.

SKINSnCANES 04-14-2004 11:05 PM

Oh, I was thinking about the strength of schedule. It makes sense that Philly and Dallas have weakers schedules becuase they play us, a weaker team, and we play them, a stronger team. (or so our records from last year indicate, we shall see though.)

skinsfanthru&thru 04-15-2004 12:43 AM
If Christmas were to fall on a Sunday, would football go on?

Our schedule looks fairly easy, compared to last year, problem is you never know what teams will turn it on in which year! Here's to the playoffs!
and who's gonna get hurt. Imagine how different the first 2 regular season games might have been if Pettington and Vick hadn't gotten hurt.

SKINSnCANES 04-15-2004 12:48 AM

I hope we dont get to many injuries this year... of couse you hope that every year but injuries are what these league comes down to a lot of the time.

skinsfanthru&thru 04-15-2004 12:49 AM
Oh, I was thinking about the strength of schedule. It makes sense that Philly and Dallas have weakers schedules becuase they play us, a weaker team, and we play them, a stronger team. (or so our records from last year indicate, we shall see though.)
instead of San Fran and tampa bay Phili plays ST. Louis and Carolina and Dallas plays New Orleans and Seattle instead of San Fran and Tampa Bay. I can understand Dallas' schedule being considered easier but not Phili's cuz I mean lets face it St. Louis and Carolina r much better teams than Tampa Bay and definitely San Fran. So the strength of scedule ratins don't make much sense to me. Plus about playing Minnesota, they may not play as well outside as they do indoors (lets hope its cold as crap out), but we still don't have anyone who can cover Moss now. The only player we had that could stand a chance was Bailey so I think we r gonna see quite a few double and triple teams that game.

SKINSnCANES 04-15-2004 12:52 AM

Springs and Taylor perhaps...

skinsfanthru&thru 04-15-2004 12:58 AM

I'd love for that to work, but can either of them out jump moss? unfortunately I don't think we have anybody on the defensive side who can and thats pretty much all minnesota does.

SKINSnCANES 04-15-2004 01:17 AM

Taylor had a good verticle, springs is physically one of the most gifted corners in the NFL, he was just always injured. Hopefully Taylor will be getting to the ball before Moss does becuase he read the QB, and the QB didnt see him coming.

SittingBull 04-15-2004 02:20 AM

There schedules are ranked easier because they play us and the Giants twice who won 9 games total last year.

Gmanc711 04-15-2004 07:31 AM

A point on the strength of schedule, it really dosent matter. We play basically the same teams throughout, in the end, too, having the " Harder Schedule " might help us.

Good point Gmanc. But since we are going to win it all end to end, and to paraphrase "we don't need no stinking strentght of schedule tie-breaker"

19-0 baby. Here we come!!

(and while I am dreaming - can I have a new mercedes?)

SKINSnCANES 04-15-2004 01:28 PM

ill settle for 17-2, with the big W that counts at the end. As long as those loses arent against Dallas

skinsfanthru&thru 04-15-2004 03:40 PM

I'm gonna try to go to most if not all the home games this year cuz we're moving up to richmond in a few weeks and my uncle has a friend with a luxury box and my uncle saw a few of the games last year. I know I'm atleast going to try and go to the cowpies game and the vikings game. I still remember my first live skins game was the monday nighter a couple of years ago against the cowpies when Randall Cunningham played for them. I remember actually crying a little seeing the team lose in person against the team I hate more than any other in all of sports combined, so I'm hoping for a better ending this time.

SKINSnCANES 04-15-2004 03:43 PM

Hopefully they wont disappoint you this year. The only time ive come close to crying at a game was D. Greens last game.

B.Smiths last game i didnt care about, hes an ass.

Sammy Baugh Fan 04-15-2004 03:50 PM

I liked B. Smith until we wasted the year of having a REAL pss rush so he could get a notch on his mantle. THEN to see him during that same game on his cell phone on the sideline while the team was losing was the final kicker.

I have NO respect for him
~pffft!

peace
mike

SKINSnCANES 04-15-2004 03:58 PM

He was probably on the sideline becuase he was being benched. He wasnt the starter at the end and shouldnt have been.

SKINSnCANES 04-15-2004 03:59 PM

But dont let that take away from you having no respect from him, he was an ass to me when I met him.

JoeRedskin 04-20-2004 09:14 AM

This is on the new Redskins site. It shows the NFC East's division opponents for the next four years.
