Re: Peerless Price
What is the deal with Thrash and Betts injury situations? Can we get either one of them back this week?

Re: Peerless Price
Gibbs in his conference today said they did look at Peerless and they decided he did not fit into what they were trying to do, so they had to pass on him or signing another receiver at this time.

Re: Peerless Price
I would sign him just to get in the cowgirls head. They will be wondering if they need to change anything since we have one of their guys. It probabbly won't make much of a difference but if signing him causes Parcels to waste so much as an hour thinking about it then it was worth it...

Re: Peerless Price
Apparently, he's not interested in just signing with someone for the remainder of the season. He wants a long term deal

Re: Peerless Price
there must be some reason gibbs doesn't want him and the cowboys cut him that we aren't seeing

Re: Peerless Price
greg williams had him in buffalo, probably had some good insight
|
Re: Peerless Price
He is the same size as all our other WR's we need to add some height.

Good Point! you can bet if there was ANYTHING they thought worth a shot at reciever (that did not start with TO), he'd be wearing Burgundy and Gold NOW |
Re: Peerless Price
if we were worried about height, darnerien mccants would still be here

Re: Peerless Price
gibbs said in his press conference that they didnt think he would help us out basically. a reporter asked about peerless price and he said he wasnt in our plans
With James Thrash out the last two games, David Patten lost for the season and Taylor Jacobs young and inexperienced, Santana Moss is the lone proven wide receiver, but Coach Joe Gibbs said yesterday that the team had no interest in filing a waiver claim for Peerless Price, the wide receiver released Sunday by Dallas. Price was a 1,000-yard receiver in Buffalo before signing a big free agent contract with Atlanta in 2003. He was cut by the Falcons this year and signed by Dallas. "We talked about here and didn't think it was something that was right for us," Gibbs said.
|
