The bottom line with Dan Snyder is the dollar. As with other owners. But the difference with Dan Snyder has been itemized by the article in the law suit. Without debating whether DS "wants to win" or "cares about the Redskins", I would just say that based on my observation & the reactions he's spurred from some around him, I don't see the Danny as being a good leader. I won't question all his intentions, but it just doesn't seem he has the ability to truly drive others toward success, rather he commands respect, loyalty & complicity to his demands at the expense of progress toward the greater goal.

Dan Snyder has a right to protect his reputation against defamatory remarks and depictions; however, he faces an uphill battle in this particular case, especially since he is easily labeled as a public figure. He is seeking $1 million+ in addition to punitive damages. Snyder must prove that those “lies, half-truths, innuendo and anti-Semitic imagery to smear, malign, defame and slander” actually damaged his reputation and he must prove with convincing clarity that WCP published the article with knowledge or in reckless disregard of its falsity and its defamatory character. In order for Snyder to have any chance on this one, he must prove that WCP had intent for actual malice.

I've come to the point where I question his sincerity with wanting to win. Sometimes I get the feeling he wants just the opposite. Look at every decision he and Vinny made.

This man has burned many bridges in his past because he is a devoured fan? I can't buy that anymore. You are right, Dan Snyder is not a leader. He is a destroyer of what works by displacing it with his circus brand on it.

I am in Houston.
Just saw on the local news that big sheets of snow and ice slid off the roof of Cowboys stadium today, where super bowl will be on Sunday, and six people were hurt. One person is in the hospital in critical condition.

Also glad to hear Snyder on the radio today to tell his side of it. Although I don't agree with his stance and it should be water off his back, at least he's not hiding and he's talking, so good for him. And good to hear him and Lavar kind of squash their fued.
