Re: Official 2012 Election Day Thread
I gotta agree with FD here to a certain extent. The only way I don't agree is if Romney asked these staffers to put on events or something campaign related that would cost money, and when it came time to pay the card was dead. The article didn't state that as the case. Seems like a generally smart move. If I quit a company and have a corporate card, I expect it to be dead on my last day.
When I was an OFA staffer in '08 the campaign gave us new laptops, we kept our cell phones/Blackberry, and they paid us for the remainder of the month even though the election had ended. My point isn't to compare how generous OFA was, but how loyalty and showing people you care matters when you want to enlist them four years later. Those people Romney burned will never work for his ass again. It was a dick move to shut down the cards with no advance notice, especially since those staffers were probably working for low wages to begin with. But whatevs..the election is over. Couldn't care less about Romney. |

Like I told my dad, if the republican party doesnt cut ties with nut cases like this you will NEVER win another Presidential election. This Phillips guy is a nut, cant believe the GOP has accepted him a leader in their party. |

Additionally from your posts you come off as angry, will you also confirm that youre also old, white and male? |

GOP eating themselves. Glad they are having these conversations and are starting to realize the direction of the people. |
Re: Official 2012 Election Day Thread
Welp, at least the most negative presidential campaign ever is over... though not from looking at this board. Ugh. Democrats still attacking Republicans like the race is still on.

This post is so full of fail that it isn't even funny. Keep trying though, but thanks for playing. Collect your consolation prize at the door. |
