I personally think all of the halftime stuff is pure garbage. Bringing all that crap on the field and making it a concert at halftime is so damn ridiculous. Call me a grumpy old man or a purist, but to me there is just no need for it at all. After U2 did it they should have just done away with it. I think they should do a punt, pass and kick or another form of entertainment....just something different than all this garbage that I see every year. The NFL needs to remember that it's a football game. Save all the glitz and glamour during the week.

Well, the NFL is about making money, not displaying a good football game. It's a business but I agree, not a big concert person in the first place and do not really like half time shows.

But where there is money to be made, trust me the owners of the NFL will be there in a second.

I like the punt, pass, and kick idea. Maybe have some kind of contest for high school players to earn a spot in the punt, pass, and kick.
