This guy is so full of win.
Well so far the link you provided before this post did not say he wanted to ban porn it was the person who wrote the article that made that jump. This clip you have attached I'd like to see the source. Seems like they to took what he said and twisted it around but I could be wrong. |

I know part of the quote is in fact accurate, but not sure about the rest of it. I removed the picture until I can find that the quote is accurate. I don't want to attribute quotes that aren't true. |

Re: Meet The Candidates: 2012 GOP Thread
The picture says Americans For A More American America at the bottom right hand corner, which makes me think that's a made up quote, because I don't believe a campaign would be dumb enough to name itself that. I've heard the Santorum Administration part before, and I think that's real, but I think all the stuff about gay pornography was added on there by someone else.
|
Re: Meet The Candidates: 2012 GOP Thread
'Americans For A More American America' has 'Onion' all over it, IMO.
Santorum is still a religious lunatic though. |

You know The Onion does the same thing right? It's satire. |
Re: Meet The Candidates: 2012 GOP Thread
I think the "Americans for a more American America" thing should give it away. I also thought in regards to the Santorum quote that if it was real he probably would've referred to it as "homosexual pornography" just to be more PC. It also sounded odd that he singled out that specific type, because I've seen a couple of his actual quotes regarding the subject and he just kinda admonishes the entire brand instead of singling out one sub-brand. The Taliban thing should've gave it away though, but I can definitely see how people might've thought it was real, considering I did for a brief minute. You can tell that Newt Gingrich quote is fake too, although I do think it's hilarious lol.

Only because it was something that Santorum probably would have said or believed. Also, I started to look the quote up as soon as I posted it because it did sound so "out there". |

These Republican candidates are not doing a very good job of being Romney's sparring partners. He will be swift boated with ease. As soon as "Mormons and their baptizing dead souls" emerges as a story again he will drop in the polls again. When that story emerged Gingrich and Santorum took some victories. Besides according to the evangalical version of the bible, it is better to vote for a Muslim than a Mormon. I know i am from South Carolina originally. |

The country's financial outlook is looking good, Obama's election coffers are filled, and his numbers are looking better and better.
Hell, just last week I had my first bet buy-back offer on the re-election of Obama. The greedy person within is leaning towards rejecting any buy-back offers but the sensible person says increase the buy-back to 75% of the original bet. Unfortunately for Romney, his attack is undermined by the fact that the GOP presidential hopeful has twice as many degrees from Harvard as Obama. Romney earned a combined JD/MBA from the elite Cambridge, Massachusetts university. That means Romney spent an extra year at Harvard, getting the combined degree in four years, compared to Obama’s three for the JD alone. Indeed, Romney thrived at Harvard by all accounts. Romney has previously attacked Obama for taking advice from the “Harvard faculty lounge,” even though one of Romney’s top economic advisers is Harvard professor Greg Mankiw. Romney has also taken at least $32,000 in contributions from Harvard faculty and administrators.
|

It looks from this comment the two have never even met each other so I don't see the big deal. “I don’t dislike Mitt at all,” Chad Romney (pictured above) said. “He seems like a nice guy. He just doesn’t understand the constitution like Ron Paul.” |

I'm quite sure they've met via family associations. There are many of my cousins I've spent time with that I'm not familiar with their characteristics. They may seem nice around the family reunions, but doesn't mean they aren't total jackasses away from it. |

I like to polarize the issue for clarity sake. I'm always highly suspicious of anyone so loyal to their kin that they are blinded by facts. I was going to go with 'would you cover their part of a tip for a meal?' but that seemed un-rat-like. :Smoker: |
