Problem solved! Now we can all relax.[/QUOTE] Exactly. The beauty of free agency is the market will set his value. Someone will pay him because they want him to be their QB and are ok with paying his price, not because he’s holding a team hostage with a ridiculous demand. |

If Jiimy G does not elevate his team and plays less than top 5 while not working with team in the future yes. But just reading how is contract is structured he can be cut with little dead money after 2020. Sent from my SM-G955W using Tapatalk |

How do the top brass repay him ..with a long term deal (which was what he wanted)for less money had they done it,NO,they tag him twice. I have nightmares where I log in here and the logo no longer reads "The Warpath" but "Kirk Drama". Then I wake up and my wife tells me "Did you sleep well? ... I still can't believe Kirk wants to be paid 30M/y !!!" ... Then I scream and jump out the window, and when I get to St Pierre he's like "How could you take your own life for that? You had a great life... Gosh that's almost as stupid as the Skins' FO messing Kirk's contract situation! You're going to Hell" ... You've guessed what's waiting for me there... Glad I finally woke up for real and we can talk Redskins related things instead of our former QB... Oh wait ... |

How is this stat worthwhile? IMO, it has nothing to do with Kirk's accuracy and everything to do with Doctson's incompetence and softness as a WR. Doctson didn't have a clue on how to run a pass route - any pass route. Also, he was so easily jammed at the LOS that the timing of plays was often immediately thrown off. We all saw Doctson play week after week so I don't know why we should let some stats geek turn this indicator of Doctson's poor play as a WR into a criticism of KC as a QB. |

Look at comments after the first statement; Kirk didn't do well with Ryan Grant and Crowder too. I noticed Kirk wasn't accurate at all times during games but I didn't realize how frequently it happened until just now. This is not to bash Kirk's game, I hoped we would find a way to sign Kirk to a long term contract but it didn't work out the way most of us hoped. Now with how this whole situation is unfolding, I'm starting to be happy with how Redskins FO are trying to make best out of this difficult situation. We all know Kirk will be highest paid QB and people will expect Kirk to do more than what people expect from game manager because of the contract he will get. I do not want Redskins to spend that kind of money on a QB who is game manager and cannot throw accurate balls all times. And this is coming from a person who works as quality improvement - collect and analyze data. |

I think Rodgers is waiting on Brees and Cousins, and rightly so -- with 2 years left on his deal and both sides agreeing on his importance, it is reasonable to see the market.

The money is from us fans only in a tertiary way at best and if the players didnt get their slotted share it would go back in the owners pockets, not ours. Rodgers, for what he brings to his team is certainly worth 14% of a team's cap, in today's market. Cousins is not, though some team may risk it with him, I am glad it won't be the Skins. |
