Ah, the good old days when the President actually cared about the troops. Now the "courageous" ones are the basketball players who tell the world they like to have sex with men. :D

I can't believe how many people still don't know that banner was placed there by the military on the USS Lincoln before his arrival, not by him. Their mission WAS completed. The President even said IN THAT SPEECH that the mission in Iraq was not complete and spoke about aiding the transition to a new government in Iraq. It's great how the media can throw out an idea and it gets parroted as fact. [/I]

Actually the banner idea WAS the military's...meant to refer to the particular mission of the ship and its crew. But it was made and hung by the White House.
