Well that is the problem. By going independent (Dems were going to primary her because she is a moderate), Sinema basically gave the Dems a choice to either support her or give the seat to the GOP. Dems understood that, but they decided they'd rather give the seat to the GOP than have Sinema win (Which would have been fine with me if it wasn't Lake). |

I was being juvenile about the article stating "Sinema in a three way" but I do agree with you and it is a fundamental flaw of the current political and societal system where if you are not 100% invested into your tribe you might as well be 0%. IMO I think Dems overestimate their popularity and aren't willing to see the forest for the trees. Republicans in particular their base are in a dysphoric tailspin. I am assuming AZ doesn't have open primaries? |

Independents can choose which party primary to vote in. That said won't really matter as the Dems will nominate a far lefty in Gallego and the GOP will nominate populist nutcase Lake, with Sinema as the indie. Lake will get about 45%, Gallego 30-40% and Sinema 15-25%. |

NBC For Fact’s Sake: The president does not set the price of gas Republican presidential candidate and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis fed his supporters a false promise: that he would deliver $2 gas if he wins in 2024. For Fact’s Sake, Ali Velshi explains why the president of this country does not have the power to tip the scales of the global oil market. No matter how much Ron DeSantis cries "woke" over President Joe Biden’s energy policy, $2 gas isn’t going to happen just because he says so. |

Biden's anti domestic petroleum policies were one of the key factors in driving up the cost of gas and inflation as a whole over the past three years. |

Exactly Biden actually went to Saudi Arabia and asked for them to increase production while working to limit production, exploration and shut down all federal land here in the country. It’s retard level thinking G1 just yells bullshit without ever understanding policy or referencing policy. |
