Saturday night, drank Peroni at my favorite Italian place, then I had my first experience with Goose Island beer out of Chicago. Their IPA is just ok, certainly have had better. Then had Mimosas and Bud Light while tailgating at the game yesterday.

A local spot I frequent has Goose Island on tap, haven't tried it yet though.

The yellowtail Shiraz-Cabernet blend (purple bottle) is pretty good if your looking for a solid night of cheap drinking. I recently got one of those boxes of Red wine, the supposed award winner or whatever...

Not too shabby.

I had "Le Crema" Pinot Noir recently, and its friggin scrumptious.

La Crema has some really solid wines. We carry a few of them.

Let's talk cocktails, I've been lovin' me some Manhattans lately, what are some of your favorites?

^ Thank you the wine talk was putting me to sleep.

I love JD and diet coke! If I am looking just for a quick buzz for the evening that is where I am going. Sometimes beer just takes to long and my gut hurts after too many.

nothing beats a burbon(beam) and ginger in my book, although i do love tequilla with lemonade, preferable crystal light, that way you don't have all the sugar from a margarita it's not just a summer drink either it's a year rounder for me :drink

Anyone else drink crown and ginger? If I want to get "right" pretty quick, I will have a couple of those.

I keep waking up after 5.5-7 hours

finishing up a drink that I left out and hoping that I can go back to sleep

HAHAHA. I'm the same way. I think it's the juniper berries that is the prominent flavor in gin. On gamedays (like I am right now) I usually buy a twenty pack of Bud Light and begin drinking as soon as I wake up. I am feeling fiiiiiiiiine right now and it's only 9:30 am.
