Wait...wait...wait. So some waitress who's working a 2.00/hr job (plus tips) is supposedly offered 50K for this guys testimony? ROOOOOOFL.

I don't believe that guy for shit.
Davis also said in the affidavit that he was approached at work in April by the hotel waitress and by a man in a suit who she introduced as her attorney.
Again, why would they be offering 50K for testimony in a criminal trial? Her lawyer would be District Attorney in this matter. This isn't a civil case. If anything, the guy is being paid by Haynesworth's camp to make up some bullshit.

Re: Haynesworth to the Patriots for a 5th rounder.

Lawyers know how to employ half-truths to sway the general public because the general public is too stupid to think for themselves and recognize THAT THEIR STANDARDS FOR JUDGING PEOPLE ARE OFTEN SHIT. That's why Brown and Williamson's lawyers made every effort to smear Jeffery Wigand by digging up past events and then distorting them.

It reportedly wasn't her lawyer and tell me that you're not naive enough to believe that she wouldn't plan on this going to civil court and having hired her own council

This case is beginning to take on an all too familiar flavor. The question now becomes.....why would a witness be offered 50K for testimony to an incident he supposedly both saw as well as heard if not for the purpose of altering in some way what he originally testified too?

Even if she files a civil suit for assualt, she realistically should not get that much.

Theres no real damages, she wasnt injured, probably didnt go to counseling for any claimed emotional distress . . .she could win on a civil suit and get a few k at most unless there is some kind of punitive (to punish the conduct) damage claim. She gets an award for compensation of her injuries, which aint much.

How much does a woman get for a one second titty grab? i say a few thousands. Damage to AH has already been by this allegation, a guilty verdict wont hurt all that much more ... except maybe a suspension.

Please tell me that Haynesworth is going to get cut from the Patriots. I have an obnoxious Patriots fan on another forum that I am dying to LOL at when they do. He thinks Belicheat will turn Haynesworthless into a beast for years to come. Problem is, the guy hasn't practiced hardly at all so far.

If I'm correct it maybe illegal to pay a witness unless they are a paid professional.

So much for that bullshit claim by Haynesworth camp that a "witness" had been offered 50K for testimony against him.
