Re: The Big Rumor: If The Colts Take Luck, Then Manning Could Be...
I'm not trying to be an ass, but i'm just curious why you stalk this forum? Is your life so boring you need to post on sites of teams you don't even follow? I personally just have better things to do than get on the eagles, cowboys, or giants forum and post my opinion.
Why does it matter? Out of all the NFCE rival fans on this forum, Giantone is probably the only one who mans up when the Redskins beat his team. That alone deserves respect. And it's not like the only thing he does is spew hatred and vitriol towards us. |
So how do you know ginatone? Are you friends with him and his dad? I think a case could be made for Peyton playing in the same division as his brother.
I guess a case could be made but I just go back to when Eli was drafted and the switch was made with the Chargers ...one reason was becuase the Mannings (Archie and the Mrs) ...wanted the boys to be as seperated as possible. The boys always do what mom says. |
Re: The Big Rumor: If The Colts Take Luck, Then Manning Could Be...
That was ten year or so ago. We are also discussing a 36 year old man. I know we all listen to our mother, but who knows if this is still the case. We are also talking about a time when they were most lkely trying to protect the younger Manning from constantly being compared to his brother. Well as we have seen little Eli doesn't need anyone to protect his legacy anymore. The kid has got it, and seeing those two battle it out twice a year for a couple of years would not be all bad for either one or the fam.
I just don't think it was something that you could write off as easily as you seem to do. BTW sorry for the mispell. and CONGRATS ON BEATING THE PACKERS NICE WIN YESTERDAY!! |
Re: The Big Rumor: If The Colts Take Luck, Then Manning Could Be...
Eli's trade back in the day had absolutely nothing to do with playing in the same conferences. It had everything to do with AJ Smith and the front office of San Diego.

Re: The Big Rumor: If The Colts Take Luck, Then Manning Could Be...

Re: The Big Rumor: If The Colts Take Luck, Then Manning Could Be...
Manning is more of the same. I don't see how acquiring him will pay off in the long run. Sure it could work but this is a guy that may never take another snap ever again.

Re: The Big Rumor: If The Colts Take Luck, Then Manning Could Be...
A pretty good source just dropped on me that Peyton has been medically advised to never play again. If true, I'm sure it'll leak out soon enough.
If so, the Skins should totally stay away from this guy. |

Look dude. No owner gives a flying **** what Archie Manning wants. He holds absolutely 0 weight when it comes to teams making decisions. |

That tells you that it's a lot more serious than what people realize. |

Dude...lol,did you really say dude? Anyway I never said one word about any owner, and never said any one made any team decisions. When the Mannings decide to go somewhere it's a "family" decision,is what I said. |

Chris Mortanson(sp) just went over that on ESPN's NFL 32,and what he says is Peyton still could'nt play now,....not ever again. |
