They said the same thing about Rogers, Orakpo, and many other players that were top 5 guys. The only thing you know with 100% certainty when it comes to the draft is that you really don't know for certain.

Look at Shanahans quarterback history and maybe you'll have an idea for quarterbacks he likes. But, let's be honest... At this point we don't know what he likes, McNabb, Grossman and Beck were all supposed to be terrific football players. I think he'll settle for the most productive quarterback from this years draft.

He won't be there at 6 and you can quote me on this.

I think they went with Rex/Beck because he had no other option and it was a better fit (cost wise) than ponying up a bunch of money to a 36 year old vet (hasslebeck). One thing we do know, he obviously didn't like Gabbert that much, but probably would have drafted Locker.

Andre Johnson is in Calvins league in terms of freak of nature as was T.O. Randy was physically gifted but that was basically speed and height. The new guys have Randy's speed and height as well as unmatched strength and physicality for the Wide Receiver position.

Vick is absolutely a franchise QB, if you disagree than I don't know what to tell you.

Why do you say he would have drafted Locker? Did he sit down with you and say it? Or are you going off of Shanny's history and connecting him to a QB that can run the bootleg similarly to RG3? Funny that you say that, yet bash me. In fact RG3 is better than Jake Locker at every single aspect of football... And I loved Jake Locker last year.

You're kidding yourself if you don't think he's a top 5 selection, and considering you're going this far out of your way to tell me that I'm being "foolish", I'll say the same thing about you.
