Dimitroff could be out in ATL
Snyder better snag him if Blank is stupid enough to fire him!

I don't see us getting him if he is let go. There are too many other teams that need GMs

How cheap will Orakpo be next year?

Any predictions on where he will be?

And he deserves all of it.

So why would anyone hire Belichick after his time with the Browns ?

Pete Carroll after his time with the Jets or Patriots ?

Brian Orakpo should have never been tagged the franchise player.....and he greatly under performed....I say offer him a base $5.3 million over two years...if he doesn't want that then let him become a FA. With proper scouting and drafting we can find Orakpo's replacement in the early to mid rounds of the draft.....but his replacement could be on the roster already.

Get rid of him already

Time to move on from Rak, as it is time to move on from Bowen, Chester, moss, Paulson, ryan Clarke, and polumbus.

orakpo is still a good player, but not at $10mill/year.

see what the market offers, then decide what to do. no need to limit your options any earlier than necessary. and right now, his value has never been lower, which means you could get a potential price/performance steal... it just depends on how much other teams are willing to overlook this year in their desperate attempt to find FA pass rushers.

We drafted Trent Murphy who was more productive than Rak, why not give him the position and let him develop? whats cheap too you, guy is 7 million per at the very bottom. Not worth it, doesn't make sense to keep him around

Not the same. Belichick didn't poop on everyone and everything on his way out the door. Mike Shanahan's exit was particularly unprofessional, as if he didn't want another job.

Someone is going to overpay for Rak. I just hope it's not us. Not sure, but I don't think there are a lot DE's on the market this year. I'd pay him 4-5M/year but he is going to get 8-9M on the open market.

I like the guy, but he is an above average DE who flashes elite talent now and again, but just not enough to justify the big paycheck.

again, why anoint someone and limit your options? at 7mill i'd pass on rak. it's only on the outside chance we can get him for $4-6mill that it'd be an actual option. otherwise we can look elsewhere. even without rak, i wouldn't just declare murphy as the starter. there's no upside in that, 9 months away from a real game.
