No, I dont call bad management with contracts to be begging, I call that typical Redskins management. Gruden didnt have to be begged. Gruden was coming here regardless. Plus the contract was 5 years, they are normally 4 or 5 years (Todd Bowles signed for 4 with the jets after being their 2nd or 3rd choice). You are acting like it was a 12 year contract. 5 is not abnormally long for a HC, 1st time HC or not.

I think who we had to settle for as defense coordinator also speaks volumes on the desirability of coaching here.
