Saw another article just today that said Cousins is still on Kyle Shanahan's list and is considered a top priority. Rumors that he will also obtain Matt Schaub, to be Cousins' veteran backup, or spot starter until they get their long term guy

It's funny that you say that because when I was playing Madden over the summer, my first offseason obviously Cousins was one of the guys to re-sign. He absolutely WOULD NOT take a penny less than 24.8 million or something close to that. Very interesting because i believe the first "suggested" offer that the game makes for you was around 22 or 23 million, and the Kirk Cousins avatar said flatly "You need to come up with a higher yearly amount". I thought it was funny at the time never believing that we were going to be in this shape today

Shanahan can get Garrappolo (sp?) cheaper and he likes him too.

It's funny you would say that because everyone knows the baseline for contract negotiations is Madden.

I have a question, how big of a sign is that social medias post by the team?

There price is going to steep especially for a team in full rebuilding mode. Yet another reason it doesn't make sense for a trade to the 49ers.
