Unless he’s suddenly learned how to play QB from the pocket, I just don’t see much coming from this
Yeah I think people forget just how bad he was at anticipating breaks in routes. He could never even remotely come close to throwing a guy open. He had to wait to actually see a guy open, and only then would he start his delivery. That doesn’t just suddenly get better when you sit out for a year. He’s going to be useless. |

Nah. I'm pretty sure pick up basketball in Estonia is a crucial pillar in the TB12 training regimen. Re: Around the NFL: Free agent signings 2018
The GM is a big fan of RG3, they wanted him last year but if RG3 is telling the truth, he didn't sign because he had no time to try and pick up the offense, etc., even though his first game in preseason that he would play in would be against us.
Not defending RG3, but i always thought he would get at least one or two more "real" chances just because of the talent that is still obviously there, and the fact that he is still so young. We've had our issues here, and obviously Cleveland was/is a scrap heap, so it will be at least interesting to see how RG3 fares on a decent team. I think there's a good chance he gets to start a game this year, or come in at some point for Flacco since he is banged up more and more now...
Are you kidding me? His problems as an NFL QB were not about the quality of the players around him. He just can't play QB in this league. His initial success was all about the brilliant offense designed especially for him by the Shanahans. Once he was hurt and lost his blazing speed it was over for him. |
Re: Around the NFL: Free agent signings 2018
RGIII has to be on a really strong team, one good enough where almost any QB would win.
Baltimore is currently not that team. RGIII is not a very good QB. |
Re: Around the NFL: Free agent signings 2018
RG3 needs to be a QB other than RG3 to have success

Anyway he's signed as a back up so no big story. Good for him he has a job. Envoyé de mon SM-J320FN en utilisant Tapatalk |

I was not hatting on RGII. I merely pointed out to another poster that I think it is invalid to blame RGIII's on-field failures on his teammates. Sure, I said RGII can't play. I don't see that as hatting, just fact. |

Re: Around the NFL: Free agent signings 2018
Camp arm. All teams load up on QBs and kickers before OTAs and camp. Not unlikely to see 5 QBs and 3 kickers on a roster for OTAs and training camp. Don't want the starters burning their arms and kicking legs out (or worse) before the season.
