Ugh, was hoping I'd have someone other than Romney to vote for when PA's primary happens in 2 weeks.

Like usual, the whole thing is going to be decided by the time our late primary rolls around. It's never any fun for us.

We have how many millions in the US and the best we get are two Fu&^ing dip shits to vote for. The right will vote for their dip shit and the left can vote for their dip shit and the middle will flip a coin. We will have about 20% on each side that actually think their dip shit is not a dip shit but they are kidding themself. I think Mit wins only because people will get scared of what Obama might do if re elected. Just play that video of him over and over again.

He is basically saying fu^% you voters I'll wait until after the election to do things you won't like. To make it even worse he is telling this to a Russian leader. You really cannot see anything wrong with that?

Re: Meet The Candidates: 2012 GOP Thread

You seriously read all of that into a statement between two world leaders? He was stating the obvious, if reelected he'll have more leverage to negotiate an arms deal. That's good diplomacy if you ask me. What's dishonest or deceiving about that? He got caught telling the truth. Secondly, and more importantly, the President can't do a damn thing regarding arms negotiations without Senate approval.

But forget what I'm saying, do you honestly think John Boehner and Mitch McConnell would let this shit slide if the President was flipping the bird to voters? Hell to the no. This would be major news and they'd be pounding this story every damn day. I'm willing to bet within 48 hrs of landing in Washington Obama got John Boehner and Mitch McConnell on the horn and said, look, we were discussing "XYZ" and I'm going to need you guys to stand down for a few more months until after the election. You good with that, John? Case closed.

You totally changed what he said and he said nothing about leverage.
He said

"This is my last election. After my election I have more flexibility".

Another words he said I don't have to worry about voters after this election so I'm free to do what I want. The news pretty much looked right over this and if John Boehner or a ranking rep. had said this it would have been major news for weeks.

The fact that he is telling a Russian leader to wait until he does not have to worry about the American voters to work out an arms deal. You just cannot see him doing anything wrong can you. If evrything was so great why does he need to ask them to wait? Its because he knows that the voters might not like waht he is going to do so he wants to wait until after the election.

He didn't say anything about the American voters, you said that. Russia just elected a new president(Vladimir Putin) a month ago and we're having an election in 6-7 months. Would it make sense for President Obama to start negotiating an arms deal with the possibility that Mitt Romney might be president or better still, the make-up of Congress could be different?

So yeah, he was right. Let's wait until after November and see who the players are before we come to the table. Sounds reasonable to me.

Well if his plan was such a good idea for the American people I'm sure he would use that for his election campaign. Only one reason to hide and agenda and that because it not so great. He sure talks about all the other crap he wants to do which he thinks will get him votes.

Seems there's no convincing you. But let's just remember there's this little thing called Congress. And remember Obama's not the only person running for reelection in November.

Again, was acknowledgement of the reality. He didn't throw anyone under the bus.

Here's what will be Obama's undoing in Nov. more than jobs, economy, or whatever else comes up....his HHS mandate. It's a direct attack on the Catholic Church and religious freedom in the U.S. Two good articles on the issue:

The Catholic Church cuts across the entire political-socio-economic spectrum moreso than any other religious institution in the U.S. Obama carried the Catholic vote in 2008, he won't in 2012 because of the HHS mandate. There are 65M Catholics in the U.S., if this issue causes just 10% to swing....Obama is finished and it won't be close. Watch for the Stand Up for Religious Freedom rallies on June 8, I expect the turn-out will be strong. I'm sure other Catholics here can attest that they've never seen the Church mobilize so forcefully against a political issue before.

I am doing well, been quite busy lately too...glad to know all it's all good.

As for not wanting to buy back your bet, well, we all miss on opportunities now and then and learn from our mistakes. Rest assured the money will be put to good use.

The Catholic church is an institution that has self-destructed. It is bleeding parishioner on a daily bases and the 65 million figure doesn't really give you an indication who is catholic by name and whether they agree with the Obama care and the birth control provision. I believe the entire church's stance is to support Obamacare except for birth control.

One more thing, what is the statistics on the birth control provision when it comes to catholic men vs women? How does your wife feel about it?
