so how exactly does a 4 game ban for a GM work? is that even enforceable?
so how exactly does a 4 game ban for a GM work? is that even enforceable?
Im not sure how GM salaries work, I imagine its a yearly salary with bonuses like many of us. So the sting imo is that Farmer will miss 1/12th of his yearly salary? that hurts. I imagine he will conveniently get an add'l bonus to offset. If the GM is paid like a player (unlikely), that means Farmer misses 1/4 of his annual salary. thats like "i cant pay my mortgage" type stinging. --------------- Schaub to visit the ravens. |

I think having anything to do with the Browns is punishment enough. Consider it time served. Of coarse many would say the same thing about a certain organization true to my heart.... |

Jack Kent Cooke, you are sorely missed around here.

I wonder whether armed with a ouiji board or by means of a seance we can channel Jack Kent Cooke and bypass current ownership entirely. Who's with me? |
Re: All things off season 2015.
Besides the rumor that Snyder threw a hissy fit that Jason Reid was going to have a radio show on his radio station .... I havent heard a peep about Snyder in quite some time. Bruce is a good buffer but still, the DS is A OK with me right now.
The DS wants to win. Hopefully he continues to spend more money on operations and infrastructure. There is no reason why we should have one of the lowest scout payrolls or poorly maintained facilities or crap food for players or a long list of other things he has gone cheap on in the past. 5 years ago the Orioles weight lifting facility for training camp was literally equipment placed outdoors under a white temporary tent you see at outdoor weddings. Now with a new facility they are the reigning AL East champs! "I would never have foreseen where we are and where we've been in four years," said Hogarty, named the Major League strength-and-conditioning coach in 2010, of a program that through 2009 was using an outdoor tent to house the organization's spring weight room." Report: Redskins interested in RB Pierre Thomas by Jason Butt | CBSSports.com The Redskins are interested in running back Pierre Thomas, according to a report from ESPN.com. However, the Redskins want to wait until after the draft before making a decision on whether or not they want to bring him in. Thomas is a dual-threat back in the running and passing games. In 2014, he ran for 222 yards and two touchdowns, and totaled 378 receiving yards and one touchdown. Washington Redskins - NFL - CBSSports.com
I wouldn't mind Pierre Thomas. He may not be a top RB at his age -- but he is a good blocking RB and a good pass-catching RB -- good for a 3rd down RB.. This article says PFF rated PThomas as the 4th best receiving RB, and best blocking RB. Would be good complement to AlfMo as a third down back until we get a good young replacement. Regardless, we really need good blocking TE/RB to help our QB, and this is one option. |
14 Comments Stephfan - Apr 4, 2015 at 6:49 AM My personal opinion I think amerson should start over breeland. Amerson may have his flaw but lets not hype breeland up as our life saver at corner like everyone else I hear. Let’s see how amerson plays with this new scheme and coordinators. He may suprise us all. But if he plays bad then hand it over to breeland. All I’m saying is we invested in amerson and I think if he turns around he can be a good starting corner opposite chris. Then have hall or breeland in the slot… Porter I hope he is released and we being in a rookie to replace him. reply
:Flush: |

Re: All things off season 2015.
I don't think Amerson should be starting over Breeland, but good lord Breeland has to get his personal foul crap under control. I don't mind him playing with a chip on his shoulder, but he had way too many dumb penalties against him in his rookie season.
|
Re: All things off season 2015.
Breeland is a guy who is going to be good in two years. He will show improvement next year but years three and four he will be a quality corner

"we invested in amerson" when? being drafted (btw breeland was drafted too) doesn't give you job security or starting rights. please.
how about best man wins? |
