When it's my favorite team I'm as invested as I can be, regardless of crowds or not.

But it's definitely harder to mentally invest in a casual game, with no fans.

Flipped to the UCLA/Stanford basketball game. Not only was there no fans, Stanford wasn't even playing in their arena. I already was just going to flip it on while I flippped around the interwebs, but it just sucked any interest I had at all. Changed the channel.

Long story short, we need fans in stadiums, arenas, concerts, etc. asap.

My parents cant find a single one in Montgomery County.

I received one via Baltimore County Dept of Health by just luckily clicking on a live link at marylandvax.org I also received an email yesterday from University of Maryland giving me an appointment which I declined since I already have first shot and get the booster on the 17th

I read they are prioritizing Baltimore and PG County currently. I also read you have to just keep trying the live link but no one recently has gotten lucky (at least for Montgomery County).

You cant even get on a waiting list. I guess Ill just keep clicking the links to Giant/Safeway/Adventist Health a few times a day. Keep getting the "currently not available"

Nice. I found one place that had a small glimmer of hope but are prioritizing 1A and 1B. I clicked 1C bc that what my parents are and it didnt let me go further.

BCDH sent a message that anyone under 75 is not to go to fairgrounds for vaccination on 2/6 and 2/7 even if you have an appointment you will get turned away. The priority is the 2000 seniors who have not received first dose

Maryland vaccine efficiency is 40th at 64% (recd 1,029,000 vaccines and administered 665k)

Virginia got their shit together. Now at 9th, recd 1.3M vaccines, administered 1.1M

Maryland covid website blames the feds for only giving them 11k vaccines per day .. but youre not administering them MD .. instead you have people in phase 1C being blocked out .. why arent phase 1A and 1B done yet? you have over 400k vaccines sitting on shelves

Glad you're doing well. This virus is so weird. My friend hires a lady to clean her house a few times a year and we just found out that she lost both her husband and son in January due to COVID. Just crazy, not only how wide the symptoms can be, but also how common it is to be all over the map. This virus is a piece of shit.

Good luck man. It sucks that honestly any time you feel under the weather, that's the first instinct. Have had headaches myself, but hoping it's just due to work stress. At least at UVa can get a saliva test any day I want to go for free.

Uncle passed away from Covid. Rest in peace uncle Tony. Vietnam vet, dock worker in NYC unloading cargo so he had good mobster stories, liked to drink/smoke/cook italian food.

Smell makes up 90 percent of your taste. What is is actually happing is you lose your smell which effects your taste immensely.

I can stick my whole nose in a Tide bottle and smell nothing. I can taste salt and vinger and that is about it.

The no taste is frustrating. The no smell is just odd.
