Re: What's your pet peeve?
People using cell phones while trying to do business or when your out and someone seems to have endless and worthless phone calls. I have made a rule on my boat that cell phone are not used to chat while out fishing. If you wanted to chat on your phone and not with the guys you went fising with then maybe you need to stay at home and talk to your buddies like a bunch of girls chatting. I also hate the guy who has endless phone calls while out on the golf course. I do understand maybe a call or two if its a work day but why play golf if you have to stay on the phone the whole time working. I had a buddy who brought some guy to play and after about 5 holes and 10 calls I just quit playing and told them to go on. The guy had this dumb look on his face and could not understand why I was getting ticked as he needed to chat on his phone everytime I was trying to hit the ball.
When I'm playing golf, my cell phone is on but silent. I'll check it at the turn if we stop for something to drink/eat, or if Im curious as to what time it is. Other than that, it sits in my golf bag. My pet peeve are those who blabber on the phone while trying to order food or ring something up at a store. The salesperson deserves your attention just as much as you deserve theirs. |
Re: What's your pet peeve?
When people say "No homo" after something that no one thinks is gay.

Re: What's your pet peeve?
People who merge on the highway going way slower than people on the highway. I'm in North Carolina right now and the speed limit is 70 on the highway and I was stuck behind this dude who was going 45 like 2 miles past the on ramp. Which leads me to my next point:
People who drive slow because they are talking on their cell phone. Aforementioned dude was going 45 in a 70 because he was chatting it up on his cell phone and didn't notice he was going mad slow. It's not as bad down here in NC but up in the DMV it's a huge problem (DMV=DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia for you out of staters). |
Re: What's your pet peeve?
Buying something only to have it become obsolete within minutes...
Ie, a Miami Dolphins jersey... and within the week your cousin shreds his ankle and is released. Dagger. |

Well I guess my mob would be cool because we jsut say "no gay". It's funny because we've been playing that game for so long and it really became a big thing over the past couple of years. Kinda lost the funny in it since everyone does it now. We only laugh when it's outlandishly suspect. I can understand though Quake |

DMV to me is Dept. of Motor Vehicles. What you are refering to is Delmarva. |

I guess DMV encompasses DC where Delmarva leaves out DC and replaces it with Delaware. Who knows! LOL! |

Re: What's your pet peeve?
I never liked the whole DMV thing weither but I've come to accept it. If you listen to 95.5 or 93.9 then you'll hear it about 500 times in 2 sentences so I feel like Ron Burgundy and I just say When in Rome.....
I'll tell you what my pet peeve is. When I get in the bathroom first and you still have to sit next to me and take your morning dook. WAIT LIKE I DID !!!! I mean come on,...I'm sitting there flushing like 40 times just so I can care about you every single time I have to fart or send a brown bomb to the ocean. F you guy next to me ! |
