Re: NFL News Offseason Style
We're seriously talking about Thrash and Connell?
Thrash was solid, nothing spectacular. His best year was about 800 yards, yawn. Connell had one good year and was out of the league 2 years later. |

All i said was that they were pretty good. Which they were. All the jazz came from elsewhere. His best year was with the Eagles with a different QB by the way. Jason Campbell yawn was the QB when he was here. Hard to judge our WRs then. I was just saying they were pretty good WR and stand by it. |

Pretty good? You must have some low standards my friend. Thrash was never more than a decent #3 option. Connell was a good #2 for one year, hardly enough of a resume to determine if he was actually "pretty good" as you put it, or if he simply benefited from playing in a high powered offense with plenty of other weapons occupying defenses. |

I think 22 touchdowns playing with Jason Campbell and the Eagles is pretty darn good. Benefitting from other weapons sounds like a weak argument to me since all DB are pros. Did he go unguarded? You either get open or you don't. Which WR was Jason Campbell throwing all these touchdowns and passes to? James Thrash was as much a threat as any one else was. James Thrash sure stuck it to us after he left. He wouldn't have started for two pro football teams and catch 22 touchdowns if he wasn't pretty good. The stats speak for themselves. Everyone has an opinion. He did as well as anyone else has except Santana Moss and Chris Cooley. So yea he was good in my opinion. Those aren't low standards unless you are comparing to Art Monk or Gary Clark. Then it would be. Since you call me friend and all yea we can be friends. I can be quite friendly to deserving folk. Hope all is well. Go Hogs!! |

I mean it's more a testament to his ability to stay in the league for 12 years than anything else. |

290 catches with better receivers who were targeted more and Jason Campbell at QB says he is pretty good. 12 year career. That is why he stayed in the league. Not vise versa. If you don't believe he was any good then that is what you believe but the fact he is a pro catching 290 catches and 22 touchdowns says that he is pretty good. |
Re: NFL News Offseason Style
12 year career but he isn't that good. OK
Glad you finally agree. |

Jackson already chirping about something he should keep his mouth shut on. I think his coach has already commented on the QB situation. I love it. The NFC East is already shaping up to be a disaster for two of our opponents, let's hope it continues. |

I don't agree. I just said OK that he doesn't. Stop kissing azz. It's the only reason you injected your opinion here since you weren't in it. |

Why do you keep bringing up Jason Campbell? Campbell only threw 3 TD passes to James Thrash (2 of which were in the same game) |

Is Sonny9TD by chance related to Goat?
