Both have a been a lil injury prone and both are dealing with a nagging injury now. I heard Mike rob from the NFL network say Matt jones sprained ac joint is gonna bother him all year.
Hillman and forsett are both worthy consideration for roster additions. its a tough call.
my wish list;

hillman
forsett
ridley
williams
are there any other rbs out there worth a look? |

are there any other rbs out there worth a look?
The bottom 2 aren't worth a crap. The first two are decent additions. There is zero need to have 4 rb on the team... IMO I would cut Thompson if I had to chose. Kelly is in the mold of a banger like jones....I rather have that duel head between the tackle guys and have a vetern guy like forsett or Hillman for 3rd down. Both forsett and Hillman can handle the workload too if jones would get worst with the injury or if Kelly would fall flat. I'm not confident Thompson can handle that workload and his doesn't run well between tackles. |

Probably should sign him
No, God no. The Ravens RB squad is worse than ours and they let him go, plus he does nothing for us at this point. |
Re: Around the NFL: Training Camp edition
There is one OLB that has made an
Impression on me this preseason, Marcus Rush was cut by the 49ers. He had 6 sacks during the preseason and is one of Kirk Cousins college team mates. I would go after him and cut Bates. |
Re: Around the NFL: Training Camp edition
Are 11 DBs necessary ? maybe there is a trade coming

forsett's career average is 4.9 ypc, stack that up against anyone you want. (cheat sheet, it's enough for top 10 all time) ravens are looking to the future, i'm looking to the present. ridley is trash but he may be better than 1 of our rbs. same for williams. hillman is an upgrade from any rb on our roster. we should have signed foster or forte, or just kept morris. |
Re: Around the NFL: Training Camp edition
ap top 10 @ 4.9 ypc

Hillman is an upgrade (all around), Forsett could be useful. Ridley and Williams are losers. |

I just dont see the upside of him |
Re: Around the NFL: Training Camp edition
I'm not comfortable with just three RB's. I think picking up Forsett or Hillman would be a good move.
Josh Sitton was cut because of $$. He is still a good player and he could help solidify our OL. Start him at LG and move Spencer Long to starting C. |

i'm not saying he has any remaining upside on the wrong side of 30. i'm saying he's a better rb than anyone we currently have. he's missed 13 games since 2009. chris thompson has missed nearly 30 games since 2013 while matt jones missed 3 last year and is already banged up this year. |

I dont think he is that much better to warrant a roster spot |
