I've not seen it mentioned, but that's all 3 divisional road games out of the way - possibly our toughest games all year - and we went 2-1. Now I know that we can't take any divisional games for granted, but based on what I've seen, the only teams I'm concerned about right now are the Giants, Ravens and Steelers. The Gmen reamed Seattle, the Ravens D looks scary and the Steelers play tough regardless of where they are playing. That said, with the Ravens having an almost ineffective O, the Steelers being really banged up, I think the return divisonal games will decide if we can finish top.

Anyone want to bet against a 12-4 record?
Let's not count our egg whites before we make the omelete. We came back because we did not try to make up 14 points on one play. The took to deep ball away from us, so we took what they gave us. We played composed. The same would need to happen for the rest of the season. Its easy to look last the next three or four, but we are not in a position to. Our shit stinks just like Detroit, St. Louis and Cleveland. Let's take them one game at a time.

Before I sign off one last thought. We did this without Taylor, Springs and Washington on the D. And Moss was shut down. Imagine what happens when the D is full strength?
a lot of very solid play

rogers delivered some big hits and broke up a few.. carter had some good stops
I think Fletch had some very good key plays, I think he had a bat down and a great open field tackle on Westbrook, both which I believe ended Iggles drives.

Oh and someone needs to tell Horton that in the pros the play doesn't die when the player hits the ground.

We won today without 3 starters. Taylor, Spring and Washington, and still played great D. Looks very good for us.

yeah fletch always shows up, no doubt

that was a mistake anybody could've made, rogers didn't touch him either, but yeah, definitely can't do it again

I don't want to be greedy, but imagine what this defense could be if had our corners healthy and a slightly better interior pass rush.

True, but can you really say you are concerned about those three teams? None of them have shown anything on either side of the ball compared with the Giants, Cowboys, Steelers and Eagles. None of them have a D like the Ravens. I'm not predicting outright, I'm just saying it would be hard to bet against a convincing winning record.

Our next three games are against teams that are a combined 1-10. Hope they do not become trap games. Just keep putting it to them and the rest of the NFL.

I think the fact that he hasnt been involved shows how much teams respect his play, teams dont want to go up top against a big hitter like landry and horton who has turned into a ballhawk, so far anyway. thats a pretty lethal combo.

How many times do you see a team lose to another team? Did you see what KC did to Denver last week? Do you remember when the lowly Cowboys beat a better Redskin team? You can't look past anyone. On paper we have owned Detroit since the days of Gary Danielson, but this ain't rock, paper scissors, /i want the team to stay hungry and not look past anyone (as some may have look past us).

You make a good point but I don't think Zorn will let it happen, this guy is no nonsense and I believe he'll stay on top of them. You know if you think back a play here and a play there and we win all these games going away. This offense is gonna be dynamic, We have lots of weapons, And the best part is that this is just the beginning people if we continue to draft well replace the O-line we could be in store for quite a run. Welcome back Redskins!!!!!!!!!!

Just to clarify, I'm not saying we should look past anyone, I'm simply saying as the league stands right now, would you BET against the Skins. For me no.

I hope Zorn keeps them focussed and hungry and if he does, and we can perform at this level each week, then I think many teams will be scared if us. When was the last time we could say that! :)

Yea, when I was listening to the postgame live on Comcast, they said Mcnabb made some comments. My initial thought was Mcnabb is a classy player so I thought he would talk about how they were outplayed by a better team. However, that wasn't the case. I mean come on 10 of there points were because of lucky plays. The punt return and the non touch on the 15 yard pass. I mean other then that it's 23-7. The eagles were completely dominated but yea Mcnabb your better then the skins. :Flush:

McNabb is offically not allowed to drink water or gatorade, he only get's milk....because he's a BIG BABY!!!!

I'm not sure what game he watched, but the Eagles scored one offensive TD. The Punt Return should've been called back, the officals blew that one. The Skins ran for over 200 yds, Campbell was efficient and sacked only once, 3rd down % was 57%. Skins outgained them by 134 yds. Iggles ran for only 58 yds. I won't say we dominated, but it was a solid and impressive win. The Skins are definitely a better team.

Your record says how good you are, PERIOD. The Skins are 4-1 and the Iggles 2-3. Their only wins were against a bad Rams team and an over-rated Steelers team at home.

What do you guys think he sould have said "the redskins are a better team". If we had a QB that said that about one of our division teams I would have been ticked. Its early in the season so allot can happen so why should he bow down to us at this point. Yes we clearly gave them a beat down but he said what he needed to say as the team leader.

Well that was kind of a proven fact today! You are what you are!

You usually give some credit to the team that just beat your ass! Not this we are as good as they are, if they where they just might be 4-1 instead of 2-3, you think..?
