UMMMMMMMMMMMMM they were on the field all day, and the points they gave up were because of offense and special teams,,,,,watch the game dude.
I watched it, the same mistakes were committed. Can't stop 3rd down conversions and shitty tackling.
I agree that the defense played better, but still giving up a fifteen point lead and allowing 18 points in a quarter and a half is bad. Especially for as good as our D is supposed to be. Carolina made some offensive adjustments and we didn't respond.
Well it goes back to the team not being able to put up points. No one can keep opposing teams to 7 points every game. 20 or less points is to be expected from opposing teams, the Skins need to score more then 21 each week and we can't get to 20. It's not our defense its our offense that sucks.

Re: Redskins vs. Panthers Gameday Thread

:spank: Okay...It is really time for the players to get with it. Coach Zorn and the other coaches are doing what they can, but the players are not working together as a team. The best thing that can be done is to start docking pay until the players start respecting their coaches and playing as a team.
Replacing coaches until you start winning is not the answer. There are players who will be glad to get out there and play for a lot less than these guys if given the chance. Start replacing the high paid players with players who want to and can play football but weren't given the chance. I think that is the solution.
Daniel Snyder, stop changing coaches...while we all loved having Coach Gibbs back, you can see that what he tried to do didn't work well either. Give the players the ultimatum, not the coaches.

Well, Im sure that we'll be looking at the wire this week. I just hope Samuels injury is nothing serious, like something needing surgery, altho, if he does need it, this would be the time to get it over and done with, since our season is over and done with, lol.

First the Lions, now the Panthers, and with the way KC played today, we'll giftwrap a W and give it to em next week as well.

This team is a big disappointment. My oh my how far we've come from the Glory days of the Mid 80 - Early 90's. What has happened to this franchise? Are we becoming the raiders of the NFC??????

I really hope not, but it doesn't look good my friends.
WHAT!?!? Little league? WTF is little league?! the refs made a blantlanty bullshit call that led to eight points for our opponent. And its "little league" to say that? Its not little league its holding the officiating crew accountable for their actions! Its telling the NFL that they have a real problem with bad calls. Have you ever heard, "Let the players play the game"? This game wasn't decided by players. It was decided by officials. Thats bullcrud! Thats wrong! Thats fixed! Its alot of things. But, it sure as heck ain't....................."little league".

What the heck is "little league"?
UHHH dude it hit his foot, that means free ball. Little league means jeez fellas we lost because the refs were not on our side, but you played great lets get some pizza fellas. Point: Should not have come down to that play, we had our chances and we blew it. That play had nothing to do with the loss, we should have been up by 14 at that point. Now leave me alone I am going to have a beer and put my new PX4 storm to my head,,,,,,,jk.

It's not so much the offense that sucks...it is the fact that they don't play together...everyone is out for themselves. There is no "i" in team guys...Dan Snyder needs to give the $$$$ players an ultimatum or let the third string play for a while instead of being the benchwarmers.

I guess your trying some sort of reverse psychology? Since we all have been bashing the coaching, play calling, and scouts who brought in these players and nothing has happened so by defending them and blaming it on the "Exicution" your hoping DS/Cerrato get confused and fire Zorn. Right? Please tell me your not defending Zorn and the lack of knowledgable assistants?

Just having to point to a QUESTIONABLE FAIR CATCH CALL and blame the entire loss on that blown call makes us, as a team and as fans, look completely fucking pitiful.

It should have never come to that. Not even close. Its a shame, just a shame........

I wish I had all the answers, but I too, am completely baffled. Talk about a team having identity issues.

4 problems with Jim Zorn
1. Zorn called the slant too much.
2. Zorn, you cant run wide inside the endzone, always run in the middle.
3. Not enough shots down field.
4. You are still coaching

I don't know if he has lost the team or players, but he has lost me. That was terrible head coaching today, from the challenge to playcalling, to clock/timeout management. He failed on many levels.

Shots down field? Did you watch the game JC didn't even have enough time to throw the slants and you think we can throw the ball down field. This game was lost by the O line.

I'm all for players being docked for their performance, but please don't defend the coaches. Our WR coach has not gotten any play out of his WR's except Moss and ARE, the blocking scheme sucks, Zorn play calling sucks cause he calls the worst plays at the wrong time because "other teams won't expect it." Whoever is evaluating O-line talent needs to be fired. Basically if I was DS I would move Cerrato to a contract roll executive position, bring in a true GM, allow the new GM to bring in good talent scouts to start the process for next yr, fire Zorn and replace with a WCO coach perhaps Sherm Lewis and allow him to bring in anyone he wants, fire Hixon, decide if Buges should stay or go, and hope for the best. Evaluate the team at the end of the season and if Sherm Lewis gets the ship somewhat righted then think about giving him another one yr deal, if the season is crappy as it appears it will be then shit can everything and "Rebuild".
