Losing like this really really sux and the D needs lots of work, However we lost this one they did'nt win it and I believe we'll get better week by week.

True, but we collapsed. Why this team can't play a complete 60 minutes of good football is beyond me and this goes back to at least Spurrier. We definitely need to address the safety postion next draft being the top priority and still look into a WR. An upgrade at CB would go a long way also.

Sure we can look at the silver lining, and talk about how the Redskins went toe to toe with one of the best offenses in the league but the bottom line is this: We had a 27-10 lead. 17 points? That's a cushion that a good team doesn't blow. Instead we let them waltz down the field, score, crush us on defense, keep scoring, we had them stopped at 4th and 10 and we put poor Reed Doughty on m.f.ing Andre "top 5 receiver" Johnson and they scored the tying touchdown. They blocked a field goal that would've given us a 10 point lead and put the game out of reach, and we let them throw all day on us until they got in field goal position.

Nobody is gonna remember how the Redskins balled all day until the 4th quarter, they're gonna remember us having a 17 point lead and blowing it. I've seen Pro Bowl defenses that played better.

Once again I stress myself out over a skins game. I was thinking "Ok 27-10 I can finally relax and enjoy a game." Doubtful, everything went to shit after that blocked FG.

A lot of fingers to point, but bottom line our running game, or lack thereof, failed us today. We left our defense on the field too long with an explosive Texas defense.

FS position needs to be adressed... Doughty is horrible, Horton is a SS, and Moore IMO isn't all that good.

I fault McNabb for rushing that play after Keiland Williams was not ruled out of bounds. They panicked when they saw the clock running and ran a half ass play where he got sacked and Williams got injured.

They're suffering without legitimate FSs. You can't play cover 2 well without them.

Why didn't they move Jamaal Brown to LT? More importantly why didn't the Texans move Mario Williams to RE. If I'm an OC I'm salivating over that matchup even if I don't know anything about Heyer.

Before people start bitching on Doughty for getting outplayed by the f'ing BEST WR in the NFL, please realize that Phillip Buchanon left Johnson one-on-one with Doughty. I say that TD is more on Buchanon than Doughty.

That's what happens when you're run D stinks when it is 7-on-7. No NT=run all day to get them primed for those kind of plays.
