Ok fellas lets not fool ourselves here, we got lucky and all of you know it. Mccant throw a pass got a pass on his bad performance and our running game was not what it should have been. The refs did not help as we watched orakpo got hooked play after play, and the Packs got help on the pass interference calls. We were given this game and it is a good thing but I cannot see a positive other than the D played well in the second half. Mcnabb threw for alot of yards but missed the big plays and looked foolish at times in the pocket. However we are now 3-2 and I cannot complain about a win even if we did not deserve it. Go get the Colts net week boys,:food-smil love ya.

Doug
:stop: ^ Quit complaining! You admit the Skins got screwed on calls, but what's your problem.... they didn't look like super bowl contenders? Without the bad calls, they probably win easily. Look at the missed calls on Orakpo getting held. Even biased ass Aikman couldn't miss that.

McNabb missed the big plays? He missed some short, underneath plays, but you better believe he made plays that most qb's don't. Quit hating or find another team.... maybe the Ravens, Texans, Ravens, Panthers.....?
Matthews leaving the game was the main reason we started to put points on the board today. McNabb had NO time to throw and was getting killed until Matthews went out.
You can call some of it luck, but we are also a very physical hardhitting team and we took out Vick with a good clean hit and several players have been hurt against us, Andre Johnson and several more today.
Depth is important in this league. I was really surprised that they were still able to move the ball when they loss BOTH of their TEs, especially Finley who is a beast. That would be like losing Cooley and Davis. When Matthews went out I knew we had a chance.

Thought we got housed on a bunch of calls. I also thought this was one of the best performances by our D yet and as a team we made great hlf time adjustments. Best win of the year IMO.

I'm sure we're still enjoying those 4 wins we had last year. O wait...

I am ecstatic!

Welcome to the sack category Rak... he was just as much A BEAST in the second half as Mathews was in the first.

The defense as a whole took this game over in theb 4th.

Would have been hard to believe going in to this year that after 5 weeks, we'd be 3-2 and have beaten the Cowboys, Eagles and Packers... and lost to the Rams. Before the season, I made a bet that we would be at least .500 this year. So far, so good.

the offense isn't capable of being consistent cause they're just not good enough. the defense is going to have to keep winning games.

It's just hard for some fans cause we're bad on offense and the defense gives up a lot of yards. But I'll take an ugly as hell win over a Houston loss anyday! 3 wins people. Be happy. :food-smil

INdy is next, and they can be had. Let's see Orakpo sack Manning a few times.

Ok read my post again and pay attention to the Orakpo got hooked all day and refs didn't call it, if you were ok with all of the throws into the ground or over the head of the recievers (by ten yards) then you were not watching. Make sure you understand that I have been a skins fan for 35 years, I have wiped my ass more times than you have seen the skins play so back off little man. You need to understand my passion and understanding of the skins to realize they have not had a good offense since Mark Rypien's O-line. Nuff said don't ever call me a hater youngin I live and breathe the skins.:soapbox:

You didn't see that Mac truck hit in the 4th qrtr before we tied it? Im surprised he's alive after that.

Or the frieght train hit in OT on rodgers? or the other hits in this game? Im seriously baffled at how the packers weren't carted off on a stretcher after some of those. Landry, Sellers, Fletcher brought the wood today!

How BIG is that 4th and goal that our D stonewalled GB's O earlier in the game???

The goal line stance by the Skins was huge. Green Bay was so sure they'd make the touchdown.

I sure wish we'd win one game convincingly instead of these last minute heroics. I need something for a pounding headache every time the Skins win.
No, No, Yes but I think he had help from Rabach.
Lichtensteiner messed up all by himself. Rabach actually had a fairly decent game this time.
Lichtensteiner is having problems picking up the blitz and switching on the stunts. He gave up two sacks today when the player he was blocking stunted over to the center's gap after the snap and the ILB blitzed in his gap. Rather than releasing his player to Rabach who was in position and picking up the blitzer.
Lichtenstiener failed to release and stayed blocking a player that was already being handled by Rabach. This was soley Lichtenstiener's fault.
However I think he can over come this issue and he will be fine.

You can't say the Redskins will not hit you on Defense. They are smacking people around, and hurting people. Not that I want us to hurt guys, but we have put the smackdown on the last two qbs.
