Re: 2011 Draft Thread Round 1
i just got back from class and feel sick....this is bullshit! Gabbert was placed on our doorstep like an abandoned baby and we slammed the door! WTF!!!!!! Mallet sounded like a moron and at times was visibly unintrested...yeah thats what we need more of! screw it we should focus on losing this year and snag Luck next year....
|
Re: 2011 Draft Thread Round 1
Wow, Eagles got a crap pick AFAIC.

Re: 2011 Draft Thread Round 1
This is saddest day I have ever had as a Redskin fan. The Redskins are like the Dumb and Dumber guys. It was as if God himself put gabbert in front of us, and what do we do. We pass. God help us. We will regret this day for fifteen years. I am so pissed off!!!!
I agree... The stars aligned and we passed... We will never have a franchise QB. |
Re: 2011 Draft Thread Round 1

He's not going to be all world people. I mean seriously, ya'll act like you'd die to have him on our team. He dropped down the board for a reason IMO. |
Re: 2011 Draft Thread Round 1
Kerrigan said he remembered watching Orakpo and seeing how much of a beast he was, wants to emulate that

I swear I saw a guy right behind Goodell at the podium, when the armed forces were on stage, wearing a dress. See this is why you don't cry wolf kids. Everyone thinks your crazy. Anyway thanks for answering me Soul-Skins. I'm going to have to go back and watch the tape. |

Re: 2011 Draft Thread Round 1
If we don't get a qb this draft should we Ditka our 2012 board next year to get Andrew Luck - assuming we aren't already the #1 pick?

Good pick NO

Re: 2011 Draft Thread Round 1
He won't be that great. You act like he is Tom Brady. We need the picks more. If he was that good he wouldn't have slipped out of the top 5. That many teams passing on him can't be wrong. If you play the odds that is.
We need a Quarterback, not some teams washed up QB. All the great teams, have a quarterback. All the teams that draft well have a QB. It is easy to draft good when you have one. They make them look good. We passed on a chance to pick a superstar. For what, a DE that might not even make the transition to the 3-4. We gave away a franchise quartback for a Snickers bar. Maybe we can pick up Brad johnson, Jeff George, Mark Brunnel, or Donavan McNabb. YOU KEEP PICKING QUARTERBACKS UNTILL YOU HAVE ONE, THEN YOU BUILD YOUR TEAM!!!!!! |

A lot of teams with worst QB situations (Titans, Zona) passed on Gabbert. That's gotta say something (either they are REALLY dumb or Gabbert is not that great). |

Sea will take Dalton

No, not until the mystery is solved. This goes to the top. I'm going to send a tweet to President Obama and get to the bottom of this. |

Who says you have to have a QB first? You can have a great QB and shit lines and position players and not be good. You have to have both to be elite. It will come. Calm down. We have too many holes to fill. Enjoy getting a great defensive player on a defensive that was terrible last year. No one likes a Negative Nancy. |
