The redskins played horrible and only were down a touchdown. I think that shows some good pieces and that there is no dominant team in the NFC East.
Thank god we have a defense. This loss is totally on the offense as usual |

And next we get Cam Newton SMH

Re: The Gameday Thread: Philly at Washington
Sexy Rexy, I hope you get an STD you awful sob. I can't believe I had a inkling of faith in your sorry ass.
Great game for all my other skins.. You fought hard despite your Rex handicap. You deserved to win today. |
Re: The Gameday Thread: Philly at Washington
Ok guys how do we going to get Mike to fire his son ......
|
If it's a true number one, sure you keep him in even when he's struggling. But Grossman should be pulled the second he hits two interceptions in any game. And Vice Versus for Beck. Grossman needs to be reminded that even though he plays a lot, he's not an NFL starter. He just got lucky to be on a team that decided to rebuild the defensive side of the ball first. Other wise, Blaine Gabbert would be slinging it back there. Him and Kyle should be ashamed they are paid so well.

Re: The Gameday Thread: Philly at Washington
We should have got our asses kicked by a lot more than 7. Thats a good sign that we got vastly outplayed and our qb decided he liked the other teams players better than ours and we still only lost by 7. Losing sucks, but it could have been worse. And now we have a new starting QB. So thats another positive.
Next year Beck or Grossman is going to be our backup qb. At this point I hope its Beck. 4 picks in a game is hard to do. I wish that we would activate Hankerson next week. Go w/ Moss, Gaffney, Austin, Hankerson, Paul, and Armstrong (stallworth if armstrong is still hurt) |

You mean, I can't blame them for spotting the Eagles 20 points? Fail. This was a total team loss. |
And next we get Cam Newton SMH
Yeah he's gonna kill us. If we can't contain Vick, we're not gonna be able to stop a kid who's basically Vick in his prime. Hopefully we learn to put a SPY ON THE QB. |
Re: The Gameday Thread: Philly at Washington
skins showed guts today and had to overcome a shit QB thats sad

Re: The Gameday Thread: Philly at Washington
That was the worse analysis by Billick I've ever heard. Confusing. Non-nonsensical. Senile
On two different occasions he was complimenting an Eagle on strong defense when the defender was committing a clear penalty. First time was that screen play in the first quarter when Torrain was tackled from behind before the ball even reached him, and the second was a clear hold across Orakpo's neck on the play when Vick took off for a long run across mid-field. And on top of that, Billick's insistence on using the first person when referring to a decision one of the two teams had to make was very annoying. |
Re: The Gameday Thread: Philly at Washington
Only good thing about this game is we now see Grossman for what he truly is. I can see if he had like one bad game out of four, but this is 3 bad games in a row and he isn't going to get better. Another hindsight is 20/20 call for me is we really needed to get Ponder with our first pick. Picking Kerrigan was great, but now you have a team with two backups and no true starter. Let's hope that John proves us doubters wrong and becomes a bona fide starter.
|
Re: The Gameday Thread: Philly at Washington
Grossman should have been pulled after the Dallas game. I have not seen any consistent play out of Grossman this season. We have won despite Grossman's below average play. Time to move on with Beck.

This was a total team loss.
no way, deffense was put on the ropes again by our piss poor offense. Lets be honest, the offense is a damn joke and is the reason for both losses this year. Guys made play after play in the second half to win this game. |

Their offense owned our D in the first half. OWNED. Adjustments were made, play was better - whatever - in the second half. It takes a full game on both sides of the ball. The offense sucked all game. The defense only sucked half a game. |

Re: The Gameday Thread: Philly at Washington
what an awful performance. truly awful, yet again after a bye week. the defense really stepped up in the 2nd half, credit to them. but our receivers played pretty poorly today, we had no running game, and grossman was awful.
|
Re: The Gameday Thread: Philly at Washington
I think there is still hope for us. Beck showed some good things out there today, and he didn't throw a damn INT. God I wanted to believe Grossman could turn into a decent starting QB, but he sucks worse than Ramsey. Shoot, I would take good ole Gus back instead of this dude. Yeah Gus threw INTs, but he knew how to get the ball in the endzone as well, and I don't remember him throwing 4 INTs in a game either.

Re: The Gameday Thread: Philly at Washington
Shanhan has no answers for this performance. Lots of, "Need to look at film" type of comments.

D came up big holding Philly to 2 FGs in 2nd qtr. 6 points over 44 min. is pretty good with Vick making only 1 mistake on the batted INT. |
Re: The Gameday Thread: Philly at Washington
Loser of the game Grossman.
Runner up, Trent....started the game with 2 key penalties then gets injured, causing a reshuffling of the line that was head scratching. Why move Montgomery from Center instead of putting in another LG...oh yeah, we don't believe in carrying a 3rd guard on the squad...a lot of why we couldn't run had to do with the Oline injuries and our FO insisting that we dont need a backup guard. Our interior was suffering and it affected both Grossman and Beck. I was calling for Beck after the first quarter, not due to injury but due to needed extra mobility to deal with the line injury issues. Bottom line, this team is still a 7-9 team...until we actual beat that mark, I will not believe. Some of you crazy bastards actually believed we could win the division after beating bad and injured teams, my oh my! |
Re: The Gameday Thread: Philly at Washington
I guess I was right along with many others. Rex would make it about 5 games then get pulled. Injuries are worrisome, looks like Cooley and Licht are done for the season. Trent has a high ankle sprain. We need a qb if we are going to make the next step.
|
Re: The Gameday Thread: Philly at Washington
we put in Beck too late. I said earlier we should put him in but people were saying what do we know..We know more than other people here do.
Cam Newtons gonna b tough next week. |

Yeah I know Sammy, but Ponder at the very least would make a decent backup. Grossman is gone after this season, and if you draft a guy it is just Beck and the draftee. Would have been nice to have a 3rd guy in the mix for emergenices. |

What a coach says after the game DOESN'T"T MATTER. It won't change anything. He isn't going to say what's truly on his mind. He isn't going to throw people under the bus. I'm not sure what you are expecting? |
Re: The Gameday Thread: Philly at Washington
Our offense has been holding this team back for years. We need to find the damn end zone more than not. I want to Beck with a full week of pratice with the 1st team. We also have 2 injured O-lineman so that will hurt us even more on offense.
Defense grade A- Offense grade C- |
Re: The Gameday Thread: Philly at Washington
his ego wont let him admit he made horrible decisions and horrid playcalling. We threw FOUR INTs and our defense keeps us within one score. This game is 50% on grossman, 50% on shanahan, and 100% on both of em together. after that showing, rex should be cut.

So say what you will, but when you hold them to 20 at our place, we shoulda won. half the damn 20 were given to the eagles by our freakin offense . |
