Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker
I feel sorry for the guy. Of all of the teams he could go to, it has to be the team coached by Rex @#&%ing Ryan?
He won't let it affect him though, but it should test his faith daily. |

Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker
I think Santonio Holmes will be the one to test him moreso than Rex Ryan. It's not like Holmes and Sanchez get along that well....

Anderson and Mario Williams are some nice bookends on the D-line for Buffalo

Good pickup by Cincy. I kind of wanted him if/when Hightower didn't return.

i can't believe he has never fumbled. i wonder what sort of things he does to account for that

Pretty simple: dumbbells hammers workout and practice the concentration during carrying. I had only one fumble in my high school football career and it was all due to those two workouts. |

he must have what the french call "a beautiful mind"

Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker
Not really free agency news, but I don't want to start a thread until more info and the complete list of proposed rules comes out...but the NFL is considering going back to the old way of IR which means a guy could be stashed on IR for a few weeks, not the whole year...which would be huuuuuuge
|
Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker
I never fumbled in high school either.
Of course I was only on the golf team but...hey.... |
Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker
Remi Ayodele was cut by the Vikings bc they are scared he may get punished for being apart of the bounty. If hes not he would be a great pick up for us for our dline rotation.

Too old. Will be 29 by the start of the season. Not worth the investment... |

That would be amazing. Why did they change from this system in the first place? |

How things have changed in Redskinsland! Now we talk about 29-year-olds as "too old." |

Young Money

Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker
Tebow anyone? There saying the Jets failed to read the fine print. Not only are they giving up the 4RD pick but $5mill this year and I think $5mill next year. Does the $5mill count against the CAP or is it just a repayment to the Broncos for the money they already gave him?
|

F*ck getting Tebow. I'd rather drink from a public toilet.

Wasn't Josh Johnson "visiting" today?
|
Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker
Coming in tonight supposedly, though I think it may actually be tomorrow night

Sign Johnson....boot Beck.

Ok, good bye Beck.

SS do you think the Skins will be at Stanfords Pro-Day. If so maybe Johnson will meet them in TX or CA not sure you do that with players your trying to sign though. |

WOW, lol. All I was thinking was for the 4th and 6th rounder and if the $5mill didn't count against our CAP I'd prefer to have him over Beck and Grossman. This would give us 1 awsome QB and 1 decent QB both being young. Obviously if the $5mill counts against it forget it. |

We could keep Wrecks until the new QB's are trained and then send him packing, leaving us with a 1-2 punch of Griffin-Johnson longer term. |
Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker
What really baffles me is the Jets being interested. Hello don't they have Sanchez? What no trust in him. Then we hear St. Louis looked into it and balked at the money. What no trust in Bradford? if thats the case why wouldn't they just keep their #2 pick and take RG3? Now we hear the Jags are interested and were involved in talks with the Bronco's. What no trust in Blain Gabbert?
For me its not a matter of trust for RG3 its about having a great back up to step in if need be. RG1 (Rex Grossman) worries me. |

Yeah I honestly forgot about Johnson. Watching some of his video's he seems like a QB that could work out well here also, definitly a good backup. Dump RG1 and pick up an UDFA QB for the PS. |

I was hoping for a QB stable minus Grossman He and Kyle must be really good friends without Kyle I gotta believe Rex would be outta the league. |
