Thanks for the clarification SS, so much has gone on in the last few weeks that it is easy to forget who was involved with what!
I agree. I must have missed that. |
What time is the pro day?
Anyone know if they're televising RG3's pro day tomorrow?
I hope they have better things to show. That said, looks like the gang is out on the road.
I take it that you would rather not tell us who the Skins were trying to move to get Ryan Harris. OK then, I'll guess: Chris Cooley?
Wait, wait, let me guess again. Did Denver want John Beck before they had to settle for Peyton Manning?
I think Cooley might have been part of the Rams discussion But no, they actually shopped D. Hall out there (and allegedly also shopped Barnes around-shockingly no takers for Barnes!) Remember when I said "one controversial player, one underachieving player" a couple of weeks ago? Remember when I said "one controversial player, one underachieving player" a couple of weeks ago? Hall and Barnes
Thank you! It makes sense that the Skins might try to move D. Hall to create some more cap room since his contract represents the biggest chunk they could save. |

Re: 2012 Redskins Free Agency Tracker
Great story in the Post. check out the account from the ES posted mentioned in the article. Pretty cool story and that would have been cool for any Skins fan, especially one so far deep into enemy territory.

Re: 2012 Redskins Free Agency Tracker
Snyder is looking a bit portly in that picture.
He better get back on the racquetball court. |

I'd bet they were going for the opposite cheek of the Hooters girl but the look on Snyder's face indicates that Shanny may have over-reached! |

I can't believe you guys are actually concentrating on the men in that picture.
Now I'm uncomfortable here. Did I accidentally log onto the 49ers board this morning? |

Re: 2012 Redskins Free Agency Tracker
They only took pictures with one pretty waitress? Where were the rest of the waitresses?
|
Re: 2012 Redskins Free Agency Tracker
I am starting to believe we are done signing people. My guess is we are still saving our last bit of cap space for Fletcher and the rest of the guys will be at the league minimum.

Anybody want to go scrounge up $1.5 million and go get Aubrayo Franklin now? |

I dont see him as a guy that is motivated, which may be his problem. Gotta say, little disappointed in the Skins effort in FA to improve the team. Little headway in the secondary and Oline. Great effort to get a QB and WRs which is awesome, but not resigning Fletch is troubling as well. So are we taking the chance with Kory L coming off a serious knee injury who wont be able to step on the field to possibly late august? Or Jamal Brown while still decent in run blocking, but is horrible pass blocker? At this time we still have no answer at safety other than Maryweather(feminine spelling until he proves otherwise) who has struggled immensely the last 2 years at safety. A good friend who is a Vikings fan, first thing he said about C Griffin "talented, but takes alotta plays off. Needs to be motivated to give 90%". We have 3 spots at safety and 2 spots at CB including nickle where we need bodies. Gomes is the only guy worth returning at safety, he could challenge for a starters spot which is promising. We need to grab some remaining talent. Our picks in the 3rd and 4th rounds are extremely important. We need to pick it up a little bit, letting Josh Johnson get away is disappointing. |
