let me ask you a question( or 2) first, do you think the only people that commit voter fraud are Dem's? and secondly, how much actual voter fraud goes on?
Nothing is exclusive to one party and who knows how much voter fraud goes on because we have no real checks and balance. I do know when I moved years back I voted totally by accident at the wrong polling place and they checked off my dads name like he had voted (same name). The only way I knew was when he went to vote they told him he had allready voted. There is something wrong with a system if they don't check any form of ID or have any way to track who is actually voting. Here is what's required in VA. They are not asking for much. To not have one of these forms of ID one would have to live isolated in the woods. Acceptable forms of identification include the following:

Virginia Voter Registration Card
Valid Virginia driver's license
Military ID
Any Federal, Virginia state or local government-issued ID
Employer issued photo ID card
Concealed handgun permit
Valid student ID issued by any institution of higher education located in the Commonwealth of Virginia
Current utility bill, bank statement, government check or paycheck indicating the name and address of the voter
Social Security card (*please see below as the social security card does not satisfy special federal ID requirements)
|

So out of that whole group, really the only thing that is going to be useful without having to provide money or jump through a bunch of hoops is the utility bill/bank statement/gov check. |

Why would you pay for any of those if all you need was the FREE voter ID card? Also the SS card restriction is federal not state. |

Your argument is very weak at best. You don't even need an ID to obtain a Voter ID card. |
Re: 2012 Presidential Election (free for all edition)
Want to respond to this. You know as well as I do that China has underage kids working in factories. Sure Mitt said the ages of 18-23 in his speech, but did he check all of their ID and documentation? I would bet my life on the fact there are underage workers at that particular factory he was at. Let's talk about the safety factor. Barbed wire fencing? What if the place burnt down? Think Mitt cares? **** no. As long as Mitt's pockets are getting lined, he doesn't care if they hire 13 year old girls and work them until they drop.
And there are underage sweatshops in this country. Should you assume every time you see Obama at a plant, that he's going for child labor? Should Obama be checking the ID and documentation of every place he visits? Does Obama check fire codes of all the places he visits? The bastard!
Yes there are underage sweatshops in China, and this country. So why do you assume the plant Romney went to employed children? Do Chinese factories simply not employ people over the age of 13, or only the ones associated with Romney? The captions put in the video assert Romney was supporting child labor, but in this covert video, Romney never says so. So again, are you going to start accusing Obama of supporting child labor? If not, why not? It's no bigger leap than the one you're already making.
The video says more about him providing jobs in China as opposed to the US. Isn't he supposed to be this miracle "job creator" he's trying to boast? Yet, here we see him talking about his factory where his cheap labor force continues to make him bank. Mitt is going to do what's best for him and his cronies. Continue to cut taxes on his wealth class, leave open loop holes, and continue to allow jobs to be shipped overseas. It's what he does, and he's not going to change anytime soon. (if ever)
How the hell do you get that from what Romney was saying? Again, you're making leaps an olympic athlete would be proud of. "95% of life is set up for you if you're born in this country" is what Romney says. Comparing that to a factory in China, reinforces that point. So aside from no evidence of child labor in this case, check this out: When asked by ABC News' Jon Karl about the surreptitiously shot video, Romney senior adviser Ed Gillespie handed off responsibility to Bain. "As for Bain, you know that video is old, you can call Bain and ask them what they did in terms of investing on it, I don't have any information on that," Gillespie said. A person familiar with Bain's activities told ABC News "we didn't buy the factory." And according to a FactCheck.org analysis in June the three other Chinese factories that the Obama campaign has highlighted as examples of Romney's outsourcing were all bought by Bain after Romney left the company in 1999. http://factcheck.org/2012/06/obamas-outsourcer-overreach/ But keep on parroting unsubstantiated stories, NC_Skins. How can you go wrong with anonymous sources whose captions don't even match up with the video? |

As to the situation in China, maybe that's why Bain didn't buy the factory. The company, GT Bicycles, expanded its U.S. workforce during the years Bain owned it, in part because it was able to take advantage of lower-cost labor in China, Taiwan and other foreign countries. Sadly, if you look at a lot of Amercian made products, components come from elsewhere. Not only bikes, but you really get into parts outsourcing with electronics. So we have one confirmed case where Romney outsourced and US jobs increased, and the US economy under Obama where outsourcing to China (including not limited to "green" projects) resulted in US job LOSS. Just not as bad as Romney's ads said. So who should we vote for again?
Also, that bullshit about this happening after he left Bain is a sham. So out of touch FD...lol 3) Yeah, because foreign car companies designed a superior car, which is the US auto industries fault, not some labor union. 4) Again, you don't make much sense here.
You don't profit by buying the cheaper China products? Everyone is to blame don't point someone out when you just as guilty by buying the products. If there is no demand then there is no product. Sears and JC Penny's is a good example of good old american companies that hired full time employees, good benifits, selling good old made in the the US products. WM opend its doors and the middle class fleed to WM and stopped buying from Sears and JC penny's. They both about went under so the only way to get their customers back was to stop hiring full time employees, sell China made products, and offer no real bennifits. Why? because the people purchasing the products forced them to or they would go out of business. You can blame who you want all day long but it all comes back to the consumer who decides where to spend their money. Say I'm out of touch all you want but facts are facts and they are on my side. |

Your comments are really too funny. Your saying the poor can figure out how to get to WM but cannot figure out how to get an ID to vote.LMAO |
