Man....You are really something special under pressure, right?

With the Dr. Andrews report out there Shanahan shit on everyone.

Ok, a rookie didn't know when to stop and a coach who lead us this far made a big mistake under pressure... but really people, fire him?

c'mon D

redskins5044 01-06-2013 07:13 PM

Fire Shanny, he is horrible blah blah. Get over it people he played the past two games. We had a good season thanks to Shanny and RG3.

As I said in the "rg3 cleared to play" thread earlier today:
If rg3 leaves todays game with an injury, refuses to let Andrews examine him, comes back in, exaggerates the injury, and misses all of next season because of it, we'll all care. This report shows us how reckless rg3 (and possibly the coaching staff) are managing his health during games. rG3 has been lucky with injuries so far, but eventually that luck will run out. He needs to let the team doctors do their job.
Rg3 is reckless and puts himself ahead of the team. He wants to stay in and prove he's tough, and we lost this game because of it.if shanahan had put cousins in after it was obvious rg3 could not run or even plant his foot to throw, we win this game.

Yeah nobody else is echoing my sentiment. But if u feel better by just quoting me have at it. Im not talking directly to u so chill out.

skinsfaninok 01-06-2013 07:14 PM

We wouldn't have beat Atlanta anyway, not with griff this hurt. We won the east, 10 wins. That's a big time accomplishment

Yeah! what good could it do to us to fire our head coach after the season this team had...

Your right give me Grossman.

Gtothearry 01-06-2013 07:15 PM

Cousins would've put up more then 10.

Not saying Griffin should not have started but after he came up gimpy and started missing throws then pull him.

Twenty four unanswered points. Really what was Shanahan waiting for?

You people cannot be so thick to believe Robert would come out of this game except on a stretcher? He's a Man....
After what he has this season? How did you phrase it?
....Please?
I'm probably going to end up defending Shanahan re: RG3, but ultimately, you can't just ignore the information that doesn't fit perfectly with your gameplan.
I agree 100%. He was having difficulty rolling out, stop with the designed runs. Seemed pretty foolish to me.

punch it in 01-06-2013 07:16 PM

Ok Hog 1. You win. Shouldnt have taken Griff out. Your rite. Damn u have a hard on for me. Lol

DynamiteRave 01-06-2013 07:17 PM

Re: Skins hawks game day thread

I blame Shanahan more than RG3 (although I don't think Shanahan should be fired for it...). Its the coach's job to be like "hey, I know you want to play, but I don't think you can go right now. That knee seems to be slowing you down."

Otherwise RG3 is just gonna keep trying to go on it. Shanahan should've pulled RG3 at half.

Gotta say I agree. I love Griff, but he needs to know his limits.

I'm sure there playing prevent but Kirk has already done better than RGIII in just a few plays

We look like the 3-6 Redskins again, can't even snap the damn ball!

MTK 01-06-2013 07:19 PM

Well at least RG3 is walking around on the sidelines looking ok. Can't wait to see him 100% next year.

RG3 did not have one good pass after the 1st quarter. There was no reason to leave him in.

Re: Skins hawks game day thread

One thing that's being overlooked is that we've played most of the game with LeRibeus playing LG, in his first extended action of the season. And I think that's affecting Montgomery

We lost this game out of stubbornness and arrogance. Still a good season. The Seahawks own us.

I just hope he learns how to not get himself killed on each run.

Will Montgomery this quarter = Chuck Knoblock.

Agreed but Shanny really soured things. I mean wtf was he thinking? I hate to lose due to stubborn bs.

mredskins 01-06-2013 07:20 PM

Great Season!

BleedBurgundy 01-06-2013 07:21 PM

Re: Skins hawks game day thread

Well... it was a great season, quite a turnaround from last year. Shitty way to end it, but let's just hope RG3 is good to go for 2013. Easy to second guess the decision to put RG3 back in for the 2nd half, but it is what it is. HTTR.
We lost this game out of stubbornness and arrogance. Still a good season. The Seahawks own us.
They owned us because we don't sustain an offensive drive after those 2 TDs in the 1st quarter. Had we the offence we had the last 7 games, this wouldn't of gotten out of control. Leaving your defense on the field for more than half the game, there's no way you win. I can't blame the defense too much, they got worked all game.

htownskinfan 01-06-2013 07:22 PM

I'm happy with the season
Just sucks losing this game because we had it
I'm not saying fire Shanny, but this loss is clearly on him

SmootSmack 01-06-2013 07:22 PM

Re: Skins hawks game day thread

So we're ignoring the 3rd and 12 that the Seahawks converted when we were up 14-0, the 28 yard run up the middle we allowed to Wilson, the two times we started inside our own 10 yard line...and chalking the loss up to arrogance? Oh ok

sdskinsfan2001 01-06-2013 07:23 PM

Re: Skins hawks game day thread

RGIII's health is more important to me than this loss now. We are on the right (war)path and had a hell of a ride for 7 weeks. Hail, going into next season as reigning NFC East Champions!

HailGreen28 01-06-2013 07:23 PM

Re: Skins hawks game day thread

Good season. Hope Griffin's knee can recover off season.

I blame only rushing Morris around 16 times, as much as the decision to leave RG3 in.
We lost this game out of stubbornness and arrogance. Still a good season. The Seahawks own us.
Ya...should have taken RGIII out of the game after the half
