Ive learned to never think a team will be in future cap hell, especially after watching the Saints make cap this offseason, but it doesnt look good for Eagles in 2022 cap wise.
The Saints didn't so much as get make it as push most of it to future years, they are back in cap hell again next year. Like with the Cowboys, you can always fix it for a year or two but it comes due eventually, they will be up against the cap for a few years desparately hoping the increase in the cap saves them. The increasing cap will necessarily lead to higher salary demands from their players. |

Not sure you can afford to cut such an elite WR, that'd be quite a gift to other teams, but yeah that's freaking stupid on his part. |

I honestly don't give one single F about what they think about the vaccine, just hope they don't miss game because of it. Kirk's comments were through the roof stupid though. Does he realizes he's playing a contact sport ? Is he gonna surround himself with plexiglass on the field too ? |

Kirk's comments were through the roof stupid though. Does he realizes he's playing a contact sport ? Is he gonna surround himself with plexiglass on the field too ?
I think if youre unvaccinated its important to follow/appear to follow the no close contact guidelines. even make up some of your own "appearance of safety" protocols. If a WR tests positive for covid. If Cousins, unvax, is in close contact he has to stay away for 5 days even if Cousins test negative. if Cousins is deemed to NOT be in close contact bc he followed protocol, then he only has to test negative and is not automatically away for 5 days. the plexiglass thing I see as just some brainstorming way to figure out/gather as many token "safety protocols" he followed to convicne the nfl he should be graded as "not in closer contact" vs "in close contact". Cousins is playing the game, I really hope our unvaxxed guys are thinking of ways to "prove" to the league they should be "not in close contact" as well .. even if what they do seems dumb and not effective .. give the league something to hang their hat on, something the league can point to bc I imagine the league wants 0 games forfeited and as few covid stats as possible. |
Re: Around the NFL: NFL Offseason
Lamar Jackson shouldn’t get a pass about his covid stance after getting it twice
|
Re: Around the NFL: NFL Offseason
Just wonder when the vaccines are fully approved what the excuses will be then
|
Re: Around the NFL: NFL Offseason
I really have a hard time with “against my religion” excuse…I’ve read a lil bit about it and most things seemed really trivial of why not get a covid vaccine especially if you and your kids have taken other vaccines.
We saw a lil bit of push back in third world country when covid appeared and the religious there said god or allah would protect them. I don’t see that here but the thinking that a vaccine would be against god is at odds of some things. I respect a religious exemption as well as my body my choice…but some of the logic is at odds. I consider myself fairly religious and participate in worship services as well. |

Giants need to make a trade to upgrade their offensive line ASAP Lol Also, why have like 3 giants retired in the last like 10 days? Sounds like locker room, coaching issue Gettleman to the rescue… Update…PFF had the Giants Oline ranked last coming into this season a month ago. You think that can drop any further? |

If it was a one season sweep, sure I understand - but we're 0-5 against them in the last 5. Daniel Jones is most likely trash - but that trash is undefeated against us. I just can't condone shit talking them until we actually beat them. |
