I bet if you re-did this poll from last year, then numbers would be reversed.

I think that unless Jason Taylor drastically restructures his contract he will be let go. Of course if this is his last season, he'll try to milk it for all it is worth. On this team or somewhere else. Also, this team seems headed in the wrong direction - except for money who wants to be part of that program?

I doubt he will be a Redskin this season.
I'm not sure what conditioning could have done in regard to his injuries. He got rolled up on in the preseason Panthers game, and he got kicked in the calf which caused the compartment syndrome that needed surgery. Those definitely were not injuries due to lack of conditioning, it was shit luck. A healthy JT is still capable of being a productive player in this league, but it probably won't be here.
Good point. But I just don't think he's capable anymore of being the player he once was. Even when he got healthy he wasn't starting. Blache had him in coverage the last couple games. He's done.
Thanks for pointing this out Matty. People just love to complain. I swear this sounds like a Lions board rather than a team that went 8-8 with a rookie HC. I'm sick of all this negativity, it's like people that thought signing JT was a bad idea are getting high of the fact that they were right.

I was ok with this signing, and unfortunately for the team it didn't work out due to JT's injury. It's a shame that he didn't produce as he did for Miami last season.
I don't think people are getting high about being right. It's just that the FO does some of the stupidest shit I've ever seen. For every good move they make, like bringing Fletcher they make 2 bad ones....and the bad ones are so bad that it's almost comical.
Slurping is a PTI (espn show) expression that implies you are drinking their Koolaid. I don't know where your mind is?
They use it all the time PTI...it can be to bad.

I still stick by my statement that Redskins fans do not want any trade to fail regardless of their feeling about Vinny and the FO. Your paranoid theory that the anti-Vinny Redskins fans wanted the Taylor trade to fail is a stretch.
I'm usually not home by the time PTI comes on, so I haven't watched it in a while and I wasn't familiar with the term. I still think it is funny that you were doing the same thing that you were accusing me of doing (you know, getting in someone's head and pretending to know what they are thinking), but whatever. My "paranoid theory" as you call it, is just an opinion and you have every right to disagree with it. I still don't know why you are taking this so personal giving that I clearly wasn't talking about you, and you made that very clear in your initial post.

If you laid out a list of the good vs. bad moves I think people would be surprised to see there isn't as many bad moves as you may think. They're just more glaring and people tend to focus in on the bad moves.

Thats very true and at the time we picked up JT it seemed that just about everyone and thats including the TV experts thought it was a good move. Things happen and do we really know if he ran out of gas or his injuries cause him to slow down.

Well I think given the fact that the calf injury he had could have cost him his leg, I would say that it was injuries. I guess only next year will tell us whether or not he's running out of gas.
