Ok if that warms your heart. It is like being 30 pounds over weight then finding the fattest guy on the beach and saying to yourself I am in better shape then that guy. Your still fat just not as fat as that dude. |

That's pretty exclusive company. As bad as the Skins may have been, the Browns are a lot worse off. I'd say it's more of a 50 lb difference. |

Maybe if Griffin steps up this year I will have a little more pride for them. |

Re: Gameday Thread: Browns vs. Redskins
Based on what we saw Monday Rex will be in there before the season ends.

Re: Gameday Thread: Browns vs. Redskins
It's laughable they're calling RG3's injury a "thigh contusion". The replays showed him twist badly at the knee and then think about grabbing for it before hesitating and thinking better of it. It's a knee problem but they know if they say that the house will get blown down...
I just laugh when Redskins fans hold their noses up to franchises like CLE and OAK. The majority of the other league lump us right in with them.
Absolutely. When I talk to my friends around the country the Skins are lumped in with Clev, Jax, & Oak as a dysfunctional, loser organization. The Skins are never discussed with the likes of NE, Balt, Pgh, etc. Hopefully RG3 and the new coaches can change that reality. |

So if he broke his leg on a clumsy slide then they would say he's out for the season with a thigh bruise....because the house will get blown down and stuff. |
Re: Gameday Thread: Browns vs. Redskins
As we know Griffin has been out of practice all week while he underwent a top secret knee surgery.

Re: Gameday Thread: Browns vs. Redskins
I like Jay Gruden but here is his stupidest-sounding quote so far. It's about RGIII not protecting himself when he runs. Gruden: "It is an issue if he gets injured. It’s not an issue if he doesn’t.”
Let's look at Gruden's statement the way I twist it in my mind where I equate not going out of bounds or sliding soon enough to poison: "If RGIII takes poison and dies, then it's an issue. It's not an issue if he takes poison but doesn't die." Smart. Real smart. After reading what Gruden said, I'm as concerned as ever that RGIII may once again be seriously injured. It would be tragic to see a potentially great career curtailed or ended early because a harmful habit wasn't corrected. I hope Cousins is ready because I'm afraid he'll be starting some games this season. |
