Fox could compete for the starting inside linebacker spot next to defensive captain London Fletcher. The Redskins re-signed last year’s starter Rocky McIntosh to a one-year deal, but he isn’t as ideal a fit in the 3-4 as coaches would like, and second-year pro Perry Riley has been auditioning for the job. But defensive coordinator Jim Haslett this week indicated that Riley still is a ways off in his development.

I've FINALLY heard some FA rumors about CP. One...he'll return as our 3DB since Hightower is a fumbler. Not likely.

The other, that he'll back up Jahvid Best for the Lions since LeShoure is out for the year...more likely.

I'm just surprised that Tiki Barber is actually getting visits with teams ahead of Portis. Seriously? If healthy, CP is better and less risky than a rusty Barber.
