At least we aren't getting our ass handed to us. And we get the ball starting in the second half. I'll take it.
We had the #1 passing defense, but that's a misleading statistic. We rarely hold a lead and we have yet to score more than 17 points. Teams don't have to air it out when they hold a lead for the entire game and know they only have to score 16 points to win.
Gotta disagree most of the games have been close.

We need the running game back, our first drive went well because we were running the ball. As I said many times, JC is not going to win this game for the team. Levi Jones is doing a good job and Ganther is becoming a good option...though I don't think he's an inside runner.

Plus, we've played teams like Tampa, Detroit, St. Louis, and Kansas City; teams that have horrible passing attacks.
No arguement here...just pointing it out is all. We seem to be a team of misleading stats. Campbell's stats, Rock's kickoff return stats, and the secondary / overall defensive stats.

Agreed, and save for this game and last game, we really haven't been giving up the deep ball. The secondary needs to get their act together and we need a better QB rush. Although, let's not forget that the Broncos have a good offensive line (you know, that thing we don't have).
Oh if not for that awful coverage on marshall and overthrowing Moss, I mean who knows. Well atleast we're still in it and I feel like we'll score more than 17.
Let's not start the what ifs...what if Orton didn't overthrow a WIDE OPEN royal on a deep pass?

Ganther made two plays that counted. One block one catch.

JC has been getting time but he has not been accurate.

Re: Redskins vs. Broncos Gameday Thread

I D-Line is giving Orton to much time in the pocket we need to get more pressure without blitzing.

Re: Redskins vs. Broncos Gameday Thread

We need to get the ball to Moss on some quick passes, wr screens or reverse to use his play making ability.

Which basically is what happened in the first drive...we need to stick with what works. And we need our running game, we are inept when there's no running game.

Im probably drunk as hell but are we actually in the game!?!?

Re: Redskins vs. Broncos Gameday Thread

O-Line looks much better today thus far lets see the 2nd half. Def. has to make a few turnovers for us to have chance to win this game. Let go Skins......
