Around the NFL 2022: Offseason edition

All off the field shenanigans aside, people are greatly underestimating how good Watson is/was. He played on an awful team, than all the off the field crap. But in 2020, which really isn’t that long ago he was well on his way to being one of the best quarterbacks in football. A perennial pro bowler his entire short career.

TD–INT:
104–36
Passing yards:
14,539
Completion percentage:
67.8
Passer rating:
104.5
Rushing yards:
1,677
Rushing touchdowns:
17

As of 2021. Those are some scary good numbers, and that was on a bad team.

I am with you but i am having a hard time looking past his off field shit.

to me its so awful that the Browns rewarded this guy, yet they have a guy baker mayfield that has only done nothing but work his heart out for the organization.

My son plays a lot of youth sports and its just such a horrible message to send kids.

I really could careless about Watsons numbers i rather had TH again this year then that garbage in a Commanders uniform.

I kept going back and forth on Watson. Love the player, hate the off the field BS. It definitely would have felt icky to have to root for him.

Buffalo has been very active in FA and were so close last year. Josh Allen is no joke.

The bills will be good for a while and that fanbase deserves it.. They are as loyal as it gets

A number of browns fans have said on twitter that they are now bengals fans..

You just can't overlook 22 different women, if it was like 2-3 maybe they are just lying (still doubtful) but 22?! That is way too much smoke

Well we rooted for AP and he whipped a small child in the nut sack. To me that is so much more fucked up than Watson. But I hear you. Im just not sure if I was hesitant about Watson because of the PR nightmare it would have drawn to us - who already have a PR nightmare or because of what he actually did. And im still not sure, probably because i still don’t know exactly what he did.

I have to be honest. I was against a rule change because I didn't like this narrative that "the game got decided by a coin toss"... But reading at those new rules, it does make perfect sense. Still have the sudden death element after the first 2 possessions, so I'm ok with it.

I can't say someone else is attractive, because I have a GF.

That comment alone is absurd. I love Carrie Underwood and Kaley Cuoco, no one I ever dated said you can't find them attractive.

He's definitely one weird dude.

He's still been cleared legally, but I'm glad I'm not a Browns fan right now.

Also - Will Compton is cold-blooded for that one.

Thoughts on Watson, Damn good football player, strange person. What people do in their private lives is their business as long as it has or does no harm to others. With that said,......there are 22-26 Women not many know each other and they all have a story of some sort about Watson...to me that is a red flag . As for football after he is suspended and we all know that is coming it could very well be two seasons since he has played last , that could very well affect his play. For me I would have to stay away from him.

I'd like to give him the benefit of the doubt - because we all know he's a good player.

But his answers in that deposition video really don't make him look like he had good intentions.

Forgot who said it - but somebody in the NFL said most players have one massage therapist they trust and that's it.

22 tells me Watson has some sort of massage sex fetish or some shit, because if it was strictly about sex he could just find some escorts or something.
