You mean Hank Baskett? He's the one that married the playmate... |

Gus, our fellow member, said he had a better chance of sleeping with a playmate than the Skins had of beating the Iggles. |
Huh, another first year receiver, who many here proclaimed the shoulda been picked pick, dropped a critical catch? I actually couldn't watch the game so I don't know how it all went(havent read the whole thread) but had to make this comment
he dropped 2 bombs that should have been caught- one cost the eagles a TD with under 2 mins remaining. That said, point taken- but wait, at LEAST DeSean was active (Kelly?) for the game... |

And Desean has contributed. |

Re: Official Game Day Thread: Redskins vs Eagles
We just beat one of the hottest teams in football. Not many gave us a chance even on this board. I'll take the victory.

If you are really trying to compare Desean to ANY/ALL of our three 2nd round picks it would be dishonest to say ours have been better. While we don't know what the future holds, we do know that this year (the only experience they have), DeSean has been much better. Does it matter that their 1 guy produced more than 3 of ours? I'd say so. Did we get lucky that he dropped 7 balls including a would be game typing TD? yes. Remember, THEY are still alive in the playoff race. Bottomline, the defense again played well, and the offense again sucked. |

Winning is always better than losing.

Re: Official Game Day Thread: Redskins vs Eagles
Now that we're enjoying the win, here's something to make you laugh from ESPN's Bill Simmons:
"Speaking of short yardage, you know Philly is struggling when reader Dan from Fairfax, Va., sends me a long e-mail explaining why Andy Reid should sign a "little person," then have McNabb line up in shotgun formation while holding the "little person," take a shotgun snap, hand the ball to the "little person," then fling him over the offensive and defensive lines into the end zone. And Dan was serious. Ladies and gentlemen, your 2008 Philadelphia Eagles!" |

Sure, but objectively speaking, it doesn't do anything for us this year. We can speculate that it will help with team chemistry that may carry over to next year, but really, all it means is a worse draft pick |

I'm not comparing Desean to a GD thing. We just won a game but i guess that's not good enough for every whiney ass on here that wants to do nothing but complain. Did I say ANY of the crap you just credited to me? Chill out. |
