Non story, it says Douglass was inebriated. Other than killing someone, dwi etc. What you do when in a drunken stuper should never be held against you.
Riley Cooper agrees. |

Anybody surprised? First punt was blocked.
3. PITTSBURGH'S SPECIAL TEAMS NEED SOME WORK: The Steelers brought longtime Washington Redskins special teams coach Danny Smith in during the offseason hoping the passionate Smith could stoke some life into a largely blase unit. It's going to take some work. New York blocked a punt after Pittsburgh's first possession when Damontre Moore came in untouched to smother the punt off the foot of Drew Butler Things didn't get much better from there. Punt returner David Gilreath inexplicably caught a punt inside the Pittsburgh 5 early in the second half. A block in the back penalty put the ball at the Pittsburgh 2 for the first snap of rookie quarterback Landry Jones career. Jones botched a handoff and New York fell on it for a safety. Gilreath later let a punt smack off his facemask. The Giants recovered the muff but were unable to score.
Return To Pittsburgh Didn’t Go Well For Danny Smith | Steelers Depot |
Re: Around the NFL 2013 Offseason (Episode 99)
^^ I am. Special teams used to be solid for us with Danny. It must be hard to work with the least talented guys on any team. Steelers special teams never stood out to me in the 2 games vs Ravens each year.
I guess I'll always root for Dsmith. |

Granted, a lot of that lies on the players stinking it up (i.e. low arching FG kicks) but some of it falls on coaching as well. You gotta teach your players to know and play better. Guess I'm kinda siding with NC on this one. |

Danny smith his last few years with us was average to slightly below average

Nice little read, good to know he's doing well. One of my favorite Skins of all time.
Well, not good enough I suppose Clinton Portis sues NFL over concussions - Washington Times |

He played during a era when concussions were of major importance to the NFL. This is simply a money grab by a greedy douchebag. Hell, if it weren't for the fact no teams wanted him, he'd still be playing to this day. |

Lions are the only team that lost money this year, more of a reflection of Detroit than anything else. The two worst teams (in most people's eyes) are the least valuable franchises, Jags and Raiders. Cowboys of course number 1, skins are number 3. |

Irsay is on a roll. Guess he's trying to compete for douchebag of the week.

Tyrann Mathieu's dominating. I figured he would be pretty good in the NFL. But like you said, it is the preseason. |
Re: Around the NFL 2013 Offseason (Episode 99)
EJ Manuel out for the rest of the preseason? That sucks for Buffalo; Manuel>Kolb anytime. Hopefully he can start Week 1.

I really enjoyed the fact that Dallas had 6 turnovers by all levels of their team
