My last mock: I think we will be very active in the trade market this year. I would be thrilled the draft went this way.

Round 2: Morgan Moses T Virginia
Round 3: Shayne Skov, ILB Stanford
Round 4: Daniel McCullers, DT Tennessee
Round 5: DeAnthony Thomas RB Oregon
Round 6: Brandon Coleman WR Rutgers
Round 7: Colt Lyerla, TE Oregon

Phillip Thomas will start and be a good SS imo. Our FS of the future will join our team on Friday.

While secondary help from this draft would be nice, you can't control who's taken ahead of your pick, and if a DB isn't BPA, then it just wouldn't be wise to use that pick on a DB. So I'd be very happy with this draft. Good RT that could hopefully start at some point this season, one of my favorite prospects at ILB, DL depth, change-of-pace RB/WR for Gruden, huge target for RG3, and an excellent risk pick in the 7th. I like it.

My final mock:

2nd: Jimmie Ward FS, Northern Illinois
3rd: Antonio Richardson OT, Tennessee
3rd: (trade for Cousins) Shane Skov ILB, Stanford
4th: De'Anthony Thomas Offensive Weapon, Oregon
5th: Daniel McClusters NT, Tennessee
6th: Jaylen Watkins CB, Florida
7th: BPA.

Sidenote, wouldnt it be awesomely stupid of Cleveland to give us a 3rd and Joe Haden for Kirk Cousins?

That's a pretty solid draft IMO.

That would be awesome.

Is Daniel McClusters Dexter's son who has a flair for plurals? :)

You get credit for naming the new position "offensive weapon."

Solid draft. Give Seantrel H a shot in the 7th. I would love snagging Richardson in the third and getting a top player for our D in the second. I had Skov in the fourth.

The name of the DT from Tennessee is actually Daniel McCullers. So, nope. No relation to Dexter McCluster.

Also, it was the Jaguars(or more accurately, Denard Robinson) who originally came up with the term "Offensive Weapon".

Fair enough on the Robinson part.

As for "McClusters," I think Quake knows I was just playfully yanking his chain a bit, as he yanked mine about Mosley.

Re: 2014 draft prospects Early edition

Just didn't know if you knew his name wasn't McClusters. While discussing McCullers, I think he has a ton of potential. Obviously a mauler at 6-7, 352, and he also had 27 reps on the bench at the Combine. A bit raw from the pass rushing perspective, but he could become a beast.

On a different topic, there were some interesting tidbits in Allen's pre-draft presser.
