Another thing to consider here is, the Jets coach just left the 49ers...so probably safe to say that Kyle knows what that pick is going to be...maybe they're not taking Wilson and Kyle knows he will get him at 3.
I suppose that's not out of the realm of possibility, but I have to believe that once Saleh takes the Jets job, his loyalty to Shanny and SF is done with regard to tipping his hand on who they might draft. Seems like bad business...but like I said, not out of the realm of possibility. |

Some sort of fetish or masseuse addiction.... The whole thing is so bizarre. |

Once u find one, you stick with her. Or like a dentist...someone performing that close on you...I wouldn’t want a different person each time
And most pro athletes have their own personal therapist or trainer. What Watson was doing wasn't about his career. He was fishing for massage therapists on social media. No serious pro athlete is going to trust random strangers. In fact after the penis thrusting incident with that one (story above), he messaged her again in the future and didn't remember her or the encounter, was asking about getting an appointment with her. |

Dude has an addiction to massage therapists apparently, 21 accusers, 18 in support, lol 39 total?! What?!
Well, the 18 supporting him doesn't prove he didn't behave the same way with them too, they just liked it, or the money from putting up with it. |

Dude has an addiction to massage therapists apparently, 21 accusers, 18 in support, lol 39 total?! What?!
The fact that he didn't attempt to get sexual services from some of them is not proof that he didn't do so with the others. Innocent until proven guilty, but the more names added to list of accusers, tougher it gets to just explain a way as a few gold diggers or liars in a court proceeding. Man, just think how set we'd be if we'd traded 18 1st rounders for the guy like half the fanbase wanted!!! The real question is how many gave him the BJ or handjob, got a $300 tip, and are keeping quiet out of embarrassment or fear of prostitution or similar charges. Even if you figure 1 in 20 serviced him, there have to be at least a few that did. Pats should have traded for him. He and Kraft could get massages together. Match made in Heaven. :-) |

Dude has an addiction to massage therapists apparently, 21 accusers, 18 in support, lol 39 total?! What?!
This is a great point. Whether he did anything illegal or not, I'll let it play out. But that is definitely weird. That is obsession. I haven't even had 1 professional massage ever and I'm way older than him. He has had at least 39, and that doesn't even include any double dipping. And he is a young, elite athlete. There is nothing that requires this crazy number, especially considering the resources a NFL QB has access to. Again, nothing "necessarily wrong" with getting all of these massages, but it definitely ain't normal. |
Re: NFL Free Agency Around the League
The bigger problem is the best player is an OT and they just signed TW to a major new contract. So now they are either taking the 3rd Qb (assuming 1 and 2 are qbs) or at best the 2nd best non-qb player.
Dumb trade no matter who they take. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
You only make that trade for a QB--Bill O'Brien notwithstanding. They are a legit SB contender with good QB play, just like the Rams. SF was in SB year before this one. If they win a SB it was not a dumb trade. History suggests that doesn't happen, because you basically have to win it year you make trade or year after, as absence of 1st round picks depletes talent replenishment. Very few trade the farm for QB trades have ever worked out--but you don't need to tell a Skins fan that. If you are a team like Rams or SF with plenty of superstud stars, such trades a bit more defensible than team like ours with holes all over roster and only one legit star player in Young. You win long term in the NFL by maximizing number of picks, not trading them away. Even Pats suck from bad drafts now, as much as losing Brady. Look at Pats horrible offseason moves, Rams, SF, what's the common thread? Coach essentially acting as GM, even if there is GM, coach has more power. You think Shanny, McVeigh, others, aren't worried about their job in two more years if they don't get over the hump? Examples of why so important to have GM more powerful than coach. I tend to support your view in general, however. I would NEVER have made that trade. However, I believe SF pretty much knows who Jets are taking and has picked out one of the QBs remaining as being the one they want, no other way you make that trade, and the price might increase as draft approaches, thus you make it now. You draft a QB without trading the farm, which is the long, hard road. However, if SF gets a 10-15 year starter at QB, they look back in 5 years and consider the trade a bargain. The problem, of course, is that most such trades don't work out because the person selected isn't a stud franchise QB, and it is hard to know a guy won't bust. |

I just don't understand why he was looking for random masseuses, how hard is it to find massage therapists who offer happy endings? Seems like he has a specific fetish for trying to get it from legit therapists. |

That's not a fact. They're just not accusing him of offending or harming them, It doesn't mean that nothing happened. |

Agree. But that's not what I'm saying. The fact that nothing happened with some does not mean it did not happen with others. The same inference, fair or not, that results from mistreatment of some does not result with the inverse, the absence of mistreatment of some. Classic problem of proving a negative proposition. |

Money, fame and power can be an insatiable disease. Once you go down the road of needing constant upgrades or attention, you may never be satisfied. Look how many actresses destroy their faces with plastic surgery. The same goes for addictions, whether drugs, gambling, sex or just for attention. This is why so many in Hollywood and the music industry commit suicide. |
