and... television off. I predicted 8-8 at the beginning of the season, and we're looking more and more like an 8-8 team. My expectations have been exceeded in some ways, but this o-line issue is really spiraling out of control.

Obviously, O-line is pathetic. It's not working. Defense looks above average / good.

You know what sucks right now? Being a Lions fan. 0-13 and most games are blacked out in the Detroit area. We should all go to the game threads on Lions boards for a while for some perspective.

7-6 is mediocre to be sure, but it's a lot, lot better than 0-13

I think our Defence craps out at the end of games because our Offense can’t keep them off the field for long enough earlier in the game.

Defense kept it close. Remember that. If our offense wasn't so anemic it shouldn't have gotten to this point. Those guys must be exhausted from being out their so much.

We lost because of the offense, not the defense, tonight, but it should be clear that we don't have a great, or probably even a good defense.

There were some great individual plays on the defensive side of the ball. But the unit is pretty undertalented, IMO.

So I'm waiting to see the post game interviews to see SOMEONE pissed. ANYONE. Jesus. Let one of the inactives be pissed. If getting emotional during the game screws us up, at least get emotional afterwards. I'm tired of seeing time team trying to rationalize and explain why they suck every Sunday. Man up, accept some responsibilities, then talk about fixing it.

I guess that's the half full approach as usual. Then again, they don't have three Lombardi trophies either. I guess we must not be "real" fans for having high expectations.

I don't see how you say that. Take away that automatic 7 the offense gave the Ravens, they held the Ravens to 17 points. Another 7 was on a short field off a turn over. They gave the Redskins their only points of the game with field position.
