I guess that means soon he will be taking pictures of his wang in the bathroom mirror and posting them. Did anyone see his mom (I guess that's who it was) had a left black eye? |
So Dalton, Mallet, Kaepernick, and Stanzi......hmmmm.
Looks like John Beck... Goodnight! |
Re: 2011 Draft Thread Round 1
I'll be interested in learning if the Redskins would have taken Quinn over Kerrigan.

I do believe they would. |
Re: 2011 Draft Thread Round 1
So what happens if the clock runs out on pick 32 and the pick isn't in. Can the Pats submit a pick?
|
Re: 2011 Draft Thread Round 1
Well gentlefolks, it has been fun. See you in the round 2 and 3 thread tomorrow night at 6 pm sharp!
|
Re: 2011 Draft Thread Round 1
Mallett and hankerson tomorrow?
Dalton and Bowers? |
Re: 2011 Draft Thread Round 1
There may be a ton of wheeling and dealing tomorrow during the day and into the draft.
|
Re: 2011 Draft Thread Round 1
Surprised we didnt see more team trade into the first for a QB. I guess teams were asking for too much. Should be fun tomorrow.
|
Re: 2011 Draft Thread Round 1
Mallett and hankerson tomorrow?
Dalton and Bowers?
Well no Guards or Tackles worth taking tomorrow unless the Skins know of a diamond in the rough. I'd say look out for a running back. They certainly brought in a lot of the second round guys for visits and the right one would go a long way towards making this team better. So I'm going to say they'll try to trade back from 49. They'll take the BAQB at 41. Then try to take a RB with their next pick. |
Re: 2011 Draft Thread Round 1
so does free agency start at midnight tonight?
|
Re: 2011 Draft Thread Round 1
Guys to look out for
Hankerson - WR - Miami Ryan Williams - RB - VTech Kendall Hunter - RB - Ok State Mikell Lashore - RB - Illinois Ryan Mallet - QB - Arkansas Andy Dalton - QB - TCU Marvin Austin - DT - UNC Stephen Pea - DT -Oregon State Mason Foster - ILB - Washington Kelvin Sheppard - ILB - LSU Aaron Williams - CB/S - Texas |
Re: 2011 Draft Thread Round 1
Mallett and hankerson tomorrow?
Dalton and Bowers?
Was thinking Mallett and Torrey Smith. I'd be real happy with Mallet with a chip on his shoulder and an aggressive Kyle Shanny dialing up a serious game plan.. |

If we can get Mallet and Paea or Austin tomorrow, I would be extremely happy.

If Shanahan picks Mallet then he (Mallet) will have earned 10 to 20 rating points in my book. If he passes him up. Then okay, he's not that good. |
Re: 2011 Draft Thread Round 1
I personally want Mallett and from that point BPA. I'm thinking we'll need to trade up to get Mallett though.
|
Re: 2011 Draft Thread Round 1
We need a NT after picking a QB, I think we can pick a WR in FA.
|

What QB do you think will be available at 41?
Mallet will be there at 41 and could easily be there at 49. Dalton I'd say is 50-50 he'll last to 41. Keapernick is 70-30 to be available when we pick at 41. |

This may be the begining of a renaissance in the Redskins pass-rush. Can Kerrigan-Rak be the best duo since Mann-Manley? We shall see.

They still need someone to create a push against the interior, and it would be great if Haynesworth could be that someone but that hasn't been working for me. Then again the Giants have killed teams with good, not great, interior D-lineman so it's certainly possible. Plus Rak and Kerri aren't finess guys. Both are capable of bull rushing people. |
Re: 2011 Draft Thread Round 1
Also, true to form, the Bills don't take a QB in the first round. <_<

Kellen Moore? :cheeky-sm

Until we get an NT, we shall remain cupcakes against the run. But by the sounds of it, this kid has "relentlessness" in his game. His measurables are very similar to Rak as well. Hopefully, his intangibles are just as good as, if not better than, Rak's. We've drafted "linemen" in the first round three years in a row now. I hope our return on Kerrigan will be up to par with the other two. |

I was talking more about 3-4 D-Line as a whole (NT and DE). Someone between Ryan and Orakpo to prevent QB's from stepping up in the pocket. Still I like the thinking of Redskin management. Like "you know what NFC East? We might be the only team without a franchise/pro bowl/90+ QB, but we'll be damned if we continue to let your pretty boys sit back there untouched when we meet up." |

Nah, Vince Young seems to be a Sergei Kostitsyn. He "bad character" is not chronic like TO's. He just needs to mesh with the "right" mentor. |

Agreed. Young's a good person. Besides can't hurt to let Shanahan coach another guy named Young. |

Maybe for us, it isn't, but I think he can still turn it around somehwere. At least he put in the effort to fix himself up, unlike a guy named JaMarcus. |
